Next on the list is to remove the stripes, I ain't really in to all this cleaning stuff so ain't really bothered about the tyre shine!
So Friday I started with this:
Firstly I set about fitting the new polo rad and fan, had to just create one new bottom mount:
Then created a top mount for the left hand side:
And attached the right hand side to the chassis but used a rubber washer:
And rad fitted.
So with that I then...
Cheers, I think I know the one you mean and yes it looked great, stripes will be coming off :)
Got the car prepped ready to fit the manifold today hopefully.
Last night I removed the bumper/slam panel, along with the aircon rad and pipework. also drained the coolant and removed the old rad. I...
That looks awesome now :) will get a cage but probably not till next year, depends on funds.
You never asked ;)
My new 5mm inlet gasket arrived too so I have everything I need to fit the RS2, just got to find some time over the weekend.

Yup the stripes are going to be removed along with the renault sport badge, the stipes are peeling badly so was always my intention to remove them. Not sure whether to paint the bonnet or not but will be staying carbon for a while as I cant afford to get them...

Shocking photo...
Spec at...
800kg with a cage will be very tough in my opinion, and as mentioned above, anything over 200bhp with these engines is going to cost.
Obviously all depends on your budget.

Indeed. :)
its the manifold that was fitted to Nick172Cup's car which has the jenvey spacers between the manifold and backplate.
I know of him yes, think he knows my dad fairly well. :)
