    Engine Block Temperature

Using your hand to check the temperature isn't exactly accurate though, it only takes a few degrees for something to go from bareably warm to extremely hot to the touch.

Can't you set it in the customise section? You can create your own resolution settings in there normally?

Volvo parts (S40/C30/V50) and Focus ST parts

I'm breaking my S40, some bits for sale on eBay. I know this is primarily a Renault forum but I know a fair few are Volvo fans too. Engine has sold, but most other bits remain including some performance parts. Everything currently listed can be found here...

    Using phone abroad.

Remember you need to give the network advance notice you are going abroad so they can switch you on. By default roaming is disabled on most contracts unless you ask.

Don't know what this is any help

Is it? Looks very similar to a xenon auto level sensor. I assumed the bias sensor would be a mechanical device. You learn something new every day!

    Snowfoamer problems?

This will happen often if you don't run clean water through it at the end of each use. Take the bottle off and run water through it until it runs clear and you shouldn't have this trouble. As has been said, strip it to the gauze and soak that in descaler overnight and it will be fine.

    Jacob's Inferno 225 Cup

Maybe it's just the video, but it sounds a bit 'diesel' to me. Next time you're doing something like this give me a shout and I'll come have a listen. Off topic but I'm getting my car back tomorrow! Time to strip it! (Not sure how yet, it's not like I can do much of it!)

    Scored discs use or replace?

Looks more like pad deposits than scoring to me, it'll soon clean off IMO

    Leeds_182 LOLvo barge

Old skool chipping - I like. I remember doing that in my Punto GT and having to change it back, in the rain, in a car park. All to get it through the MOT - the good old days!

Are you sure that's wise, sir?

Cheat - it clearly rolls through some flammable liquid that ignites, it's not the tyres!

    The Cars Spotted Appreciation Thread

That's an American thing, something to do with them being imported in.

    The Cars Spotted Appreciation Thread

Maybe then, seems odd though. It's the type of car you would try to make sure every last detail was correct on IMO.

    The Cars Spotted Appreciation Thread

Not a 959 unless something is wrong on the reg details. It's shows as having a 3.4l engine, 959's were a 2.9l. Decent looking rep from that angle though.

Tool for the lower rad clip

Something like this I would have thought https://www.machinemart.co.uk/p/flexible-long-reach-hose-clamp-pliers/ I tend to use mole grips on that type of hose clip, but I've never done a 182 so no idea on the space you have.

    Pressure washer

I love the patio cleaner, much less mess than the nozzle on its own I find. Quicker too

    Pressure washer

https://www.machinemart.co.uk/p/nilfisk-c130.1-6-p-x-tra-cold-water-domestic-p/ Slightly over budget, but if you shop around you'll get it cheaper. It's worth the extra over the c110 & c120 for the extra pressure and the upgraded patio cleaner is much better than the standard one.

    Which pollen filter?

I'd be buying an activated charcoal one to help eliminate smells personally, however I have no idea if anyone makes one for the Clio.

    Replacement engine rattle with video

Did you hear the engine running before you purchased? It sounds little like an injector ticking to me, but it's hard to tell on a video.

    BHP & Torque Help

So you think a driver getting into a car makes it less powerful? It may reduce the power to weight ratio, but the power at the wheels/flywheel remains the same.

    BHP & Torque Help

What has the weight of the car and driver got to do with bhp at the fly and wheels? I think you are confused with power to weight.

    Car cover for 172...any recommendations?

Why cover it at all? Decent layer of wax and leave it in the elements? It's a Clio, not a classic car.
