    WTF

It might dry out, I'd leave it for a while and see how it looks in a few weeks.

    WTF

Moisture by the looks of it. Where did you spray it?

    Skills or just a gift?

I've just finished reading Guy Martin - when you dead, you dead. He goes into a bit of riding style and sliding the back end etc. It reads more like a skill than something you are just born with. As said though, you might blhave the skill but you need to have the balls to use it! Great book...

Getting cam timing checked in Scotland?

Do you have any reason to think it is wrong? Who changed the cambelt in 2014? That could make all the difference. Get it on a Dyno, that will show if it's down on power. Anything less that about 160bhp and I'd be getting it checked out.

    Volvo V60 R-Design

Sorry for the thread hijack @harvsurrey What S4 is it you have mate? I've just been looking at B7 cabriolets as a possible next car (if the DVLA let me have my licence back in 6 months). Anything major to look out for? By the way, I'm happy to hear your experiences and opinions, that's what...

    Socket / Tool Sets?

I'd be buying this personally. Lifetime guarantee on and non-moving parts and rebuildable ratchets. Pretty much any tool you'll need...

    Fitting Supplied tyres (Basingstoke)

As said, you need a friendly place. I have one that Ive used for about 15 years who will happily fit for £5 a wheel. But you're average guy off the street will pay £10-20 usually.

Not a bad finish for rattle cans mate, looks good.

    Sky Cancellation

Very odd. They still to this day write and call at regular intervals even though I've told them I'm stuck in contract with VM

    Sky Cancellation

We were offered as much as 70% off after cancelling our Sky package. They will write to you and probably call you well before it actually goes off.

    RAW files in Lightroom 5.7.1

Yep, it'll be the file type your camera is outputting that is the issue. http://pcsupport.about.com/od/fileextensions/f/cr2-file.htm

    Budget noise cancelling headphones

Right, I'm stuck in hospital at the minute, probably for another week. I've got a pair of Sennheiser HD201 on ear headphones, but they are getting a bit noisy so I could do with some new ones. Are there any 'budget' on ear headphones that offer noise cancelling that anyone can suggest? Cheers...

    Virgin Media 152mb problem

Seems to be some posts saying a beta version of OS X has cured it for some people? Doesn't that point at it being a apple issue more than a VM?

    Keeping my exhaust shiny

Get some gtechniq c5 on the tips, that will make them much easier to clean, probably just with a cloth if applied properly. It's not cheap, but it's good! http://www.shopnshine.co.uk/gtechniq-c5-wheel-armour-30ml?___SID=U If you want just a small amount I'm sure I have some left from when I...

Timing Belt / Dephaser pulley change by miles not age?

It's 6 years on the late 197's and all 200's. Also, the dephasers are much better than the 1*2's and don't usually require replacement.

    S40 T5 sleeper project

Oh they think I've fractured my L2 vertebrae too, but they aren't worried about that as its not displaced, just regular pain killers and top ups of morphine to sort out the pain.

    S40 T5 sleeper project

They've got to the bottom of it, just awaiting surgery to have a defibrillator implanted in my chest so that if it was to happen again it will automatically shock my heart back into its proper rhythm. Everything is just taking ages because of emergencies coming in etc.

    S40 T5 sleeper project

Cheers mate, need to get out of this damn hospital though!

    S40 T5 sleeper project

Righto - Volvo is dead after I had a blackout (possible cardiac arrest) at the wheel and crashed into a telegraph pole and someone's garden. No pics of the car as I never got chance to see it, but it's a cat c. Hoping to buy it back to salvage some parts but we'll see how that pans out...

    197 Gearbox remove

My guess would be that the subframe either needs removing or at least dropping down a bit. I doubt it'll come out with out that.
