I've always love black and gold:) bet it's a pain having white alloys though haha. I'm looking the 1.4 tsi with the factory btcc body kit. It's around 125bhp which is reasonable on insurance considering I'm 18
Not spending anymore on it as I'm getting a new car soon. Looking at getting a 1.4 turbo seat Leon because as you know being 18 insurance is not cheap at our age:(
But I did put tyre shine on after the picture:)
Time for a little update as I don't come on here much.
Now have a private plate and fitted a spoiler. Happy with the results!
Here's some pictures from yesterday
Then one of the Clio tucked away for the night
Mine wouldn't select hear back last year,or it would but would be hard to select gear. Turned out it needed a gearbox oil change an was all like new again. Not saying you could be lucky like me but its worth looking at
I paid £40,but my mates uncle did it for me in his garage. I wouldn't worry about the shocks unless you go lower than 50mm,so in this case don't bother keep your money
Plasti dip will be fine on your wheels mate,I did mine and if you do get a bit coming off just apply another layer. Plasti dip is a lot stronger than people think. Here's a picture of my alloys in anthracite plasti dip here's a picture
I now have turinis and these are stored in the shed
The tyres are 205/50/16,bigger profile than what's normally put on them so that's probably why. Didn't want a big gap I the arch so I went with that profile then if I get coilovers I'll put lower profile ones on
I hate having a black car, really does show all the marks and dirt. Yea I love the wheels, look good with the 20mm spacers. It's already lowered 40mm,was planning on getting coilovers but I'm looking to get a new car in the new year
I love the new wheel colour too, suits the car quite nice. I was fuming,it was right before I went to work I noticed it,wasn't in the best of moods anyway working 7 days a week haha. Luckily only the wing mirror was damaged, nope they're the speedline turinis that are on the mk2 trophy sports
So I have a mk3 1.2 and it has a really annoying click from the clutch pedal. It does it 75% of the time When I release the clutch. Anyone had this or knows what it is?
