Lovely car,my mk3 is lowered by 40mm and it looks and handles much better. I wouldn't plasti dip the splitter,it'll start to peel from stones hitting it. But plasti dip is awesome, done my alloys and interior with it.
Just a few snaps of my mk3 after a clean, not the best pictures due to being taken on my iphone
So I used a machine polisher for the first time ever and it looks so much better. Swirl mark free:D also put on some new number plates
Looking good bud, nice to see another mk3:) mines lowered 40mm with 20mm spacers on the rear and it looks much better and handles better.
But if you can afford it go for coilovers, much better.
Was just looking at the pipercross panel filter for my non turbo 1.2 mk3. With this panel filter will it increase the noise? I did have a k&n cone filter on,but it looked chavy under the bonnet and used more petrol.
So looking at this as it still looks oem under the bonnet but still want a bit...
I exaggerated on the half hour bit,but within a few hours it would go down. Even when I wasn't heavy footed it still decreased a stupid amount. Could be to do with i do a lot of city driving
I never drove it hard with the induction kit because i could see it was using more petrol. My mpg was 36 and with the kit it went down to 30 in the matter for half an hour
Might just bite the bullet and get them!
He first said £150 for tyres and £400 for the wheels. And that's having the tyres for the cost he paid but he said £500 all in
Yes you can fit a induction kit,had one on mine not long ago but I took it off as it was using to much petrol. I had a k&n air filter and a small air filter on the oil breather.
