How imperative is it to allow gtechniq G1 and C5 to set for 24 hours? Just done my wheels and glass and it's rained a little. The wheels didn't get wet. The glass I wiped dry once it stopped and it was beading well. I need to apply another two coats anyway but hoping I've not fucked the base coat...
Hope its not true! Needs a good machine polish and maybe some paint touch up..
So I gave it a good seeing to down some local B roads when I got home last night. Where the Focus would have been all over the road and id of been pissed off because I couldn't actually enjoy it for fighting the...
I know mate I've done my research. I just saw that thought it was right and went for it. If a cup s came up with recaros I'd probably have gone for that instead.
Hope it lives up to the hype as that's what got me interested.
Thanks all
@Cribert I wanted a Cup S, but my 'must haves' were Recaros, the limited slip diff and the 18's whatever I was going to go for. So when that Nav cropped up for the right price and the right spec I figured Id go for that instead plus when I saw the colour I was sold.
Been like an excited child all week, pick the thing up later this afternoon... :D
Focus ST goes back in October when the lease is up, I've had my eye on Megs for 3 months now to see whats what to get ready for October and this one came up, almost perfect spec for me. Phoned up, paid deposit...

Sonax BSD was good but was very grabby and difficult to get a good finish, i...
Zymol Carbon is King but it is double the price of AGHD.
inb4 Glasur, it doesnt warrant the extra price tag.
And 476s is great for durability but I used to find it muted the flake (noticeably), can also be a b**ch to work with.
Still using Sonax (now using Turbo Detailer over BSD) as my LSP...
Reminds me of the time I ran my Clio's brake pads to the metal and ended up with actual piles of metal filings in the crevices, it was so bad when I dried the car the drying towels were covered in metal filings and when it rained there were streaks of rust all over the car.
Submit it to the...
How on earth does the MK2, FWD Clio have the capability to put down that much power through its wheels lol.
Mental. Cant believe you got that much power from a f**king F4R, assuming it is an F4R still, and assuming its been modified to s**t.
