My centre exhaust mount was completely shagged so it was bouncing around everywhere, in that picture it’s most likely fallen out of the rear hanger which happened from time to time 😂
I've got a unsilenced KTEC stealth on my car with a decat, and I'll warn you now, it is loud! Ideally if you're wanting to daily drive it I'd go for a silenced one. The quality of it is really good, fits well with some fresh hangers and so far seems to not rusted. As always with KTEC it took...
I'm amazed no one has posted a Ph1 172 yet, when it came out it was huge step forward for the hot hatch world in terms of power and spec.
Next up would have to be a 309 GTi, basically a better 205 GTi (although worse looking I will admit).
And finally because I'm a weirdo, I'll include a...
This should be the right inner tie rod for the Phase 1, it'll have the part number on there too:

You can probably find it cheaper than here but this is what you're after:

It was good to see Alex back on Camber & Combustion for there latest video in the MX5's. I think he'd been away in Canada/US and the channel hadn't really felt the same in that time. Hopefully they'll be back to their best now.
It happens to all automotive youtubers sadly. Start off small-time and humble, then they get their big break and you're happy to see them doing well. Then they end up going down the corporate route with tons of sponsored videos and produce shite like "LOOK WHAT HAPPENED TO MY BRAND NEW FERRARI"...
Personally I'd have a lot more fun messing around with a 996 Turbo as I wouldn't be so worried about hurting the value of the car. Where-as your GTR is so pristine and such low mileage that it'll mean you'll want to drive it less to avoid losing money on it.
Get the 996 Turbo, it doesn't sound...
Pretty much at a point now where I'm happy with my setup. It's a bit of a mix and match but it works for me.
The WRC Playseat, Fanatec Clubsport pedals and Thrustmaster TS-PC wheelbase were a £450 bundle off FB Marketplace, which was a steal when you consider the cost of those pedals by...
That pretty much sums up all of automotive youtube recently, it's a super stale cycle of: 'Buy car, spend tons of money on it, tune it, park it.'
The format is so played out and it's rare to see something interesting posted that is relatable.
They're a bit all over the place price-wise atm, some right shitters up for £5k and some seemingly nice ones for £3k so it's a bit of a nightmare to price really.
Potentially thinking of selling my 197 as my partner doesn't love it like she did the R26 and I'd prefer something better for long distance drives. Just wondering if you guys think £3500 sounds about right, or is that a little too low?
Here's the spec:
2007 RenaultSport Clio 197 in Nimbus Grey...
Nothing quite like buying a car that was fairly reviewed as a step down from the previous generation, and then spending all of your life posting massive paragraphs trying to tell people it's not actually that bad... seems like a totally sane thing to do 🥴
Mate, this post is nearly 8 years old, why are you having a go at people now?.. You don't need to defend the honour of Renault, they don't even make fun cars anymore so they won't give a toss
Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but is there any chance there could be a proper trackside photographer next year? I know it's another expense that might bump the price up slightly, but I would've loved some professional photos of my Clio on track!
