Hi guys, another slightly different one from me as I don't get to tackle many classics, but this was a great turnaround that I thought might be of interest!
This job was through a recommendation from the owner of the Audi S5 that we recently detailed, the spec was to get it looking it's best...
Think I'd be going red leather! Thanks Ian.
It was a lovely colour but I think I'd lean towards the yellow or brown!
Had a few nice enquiries arrive through the website this month.
Wimp, get it done! :)
Why M3 over M4?
Quite a few reasons not to go further.
Price and time-wise to remove those deeper scratches efficiently it will be double the cost as Kev says.
Just been a bit lazy in not renewing gally , paid up now ;)
Just seen this, thanks mate!
While I'm here, a little update on the car...
The car has just ticked over 50k, really racking up the motorway miles but it's looking well for it. Just had a new lower front bearing fitted and service from Dan@SJM yesterday. The car is going to get Cooksport...
See what you mean, they were awfully painted as well. The quality isn't there imo compared to older BM's. There was also a little mark on the bonnet in the paintwork not pictured, dirt under the clear coat.. (Customer was told)
Hi guys, thought this little turnaround would be of interest to some!
I was contacted by a loyal customer to carry out an enhancement/new car detail on this year-old Audi S5.
With the wash work and decontamination done, the car was pulled inside for correction.
Overall the car came...
Hi all, another one from me!
Last weekend I spent a couple of days at Bell & Colvill in Surrey, to prepare two of the new supercar fleet for sale, the first of which was this Bentley Continental GT Speed; a few figures to take in on this one..
6 litre W12, 4WD, 616bhp, 590lb ft, 0-62mph in...
Hi guys, thought I'd share a cool job I was called up for - preparing this new BMW M4 at Green Bower BMW down in South Wales.
As always I started with the wheels.
Washed with the usual two bucket method, then decontaminated with Tardis, Iron Out and a clay mitt, which was much needed...
Thanks guys. :)
Cheers mate long time no see!
As it's quite a hard sealant to track where you've been, I try to be methodical with the application to avoid missing any bits, up and down overlapping motions etc.
Pretty straight forward though I think, is that what SJ Cook are selling now and...
Hi guys, another one from me, this time I headed down to Bell & Colvill Lotus, to prepare one of their current collection for sale, this stunning Tungsten Silver Aston Martin V8 Vantage.
Being a few years old, the car just needed a general tidy-up and some solid protection applied to look...
Nice! Definitely one of the best colours.
Have to say though that every Audi showroom is filled with black, blue, white and grey, they never put colours out like Sepang/Mica/Merlin Purple!
No idea mate, just noticed that they don't seem to offer the S5 in coupe form, or maybe it was cabriolet... someone more knowledgable will be along soon!
I get on really well with it, only use the boot as well! Got a set layout I follow now haha, will take a photo next time I'm away, so next...
