I need to reseal the rocker cap on my ph2 172. I understand that the cambelt need to be done again.
I replace the cambelt, dephaser, pulleys and tensioner in December 2016. It is possible just to remove tension from the cambelt, lock the cams and lock the crankshaft using the Renault kit...
I will replace the silicon gasket on the rocker cap next month and also a new cambelt and alignment, I will stay there with the mechanic and the service manual from Renault :) to be sure that he did not skip anything.
The belts were done at the end of 2016 and I think the timing was done back then. But I will make a check. What I can do is to remove the plastic caps from the cams and see if the lines are aligned, hope to see a problem:))
I've installed a scenic shifter from a 2002 car. Is the one that has the insert on the ball. If you could find one that is ball is injected there, would be great.

The RS tuner only, and I get one time inconsistency between track 1-2 (I believe) but on that moment the car did not rev and a quick stop and then start again the engine and it does work ok. I clean the throttle body at that time and no more issues with it. I will give a try on what you said...

I've installed the Yanoo kit with the scenic shifter. A big difference tbh and really like it. I save money for a rebuild gearbox because of the increase rev limit and the scenic shifter the synchros hates me :)), 3rd one is gone.

I need someones help that have an rs2 inlet on the 1*2 Clio. I want to build my own rs2 style inlet and really need a side pic with a rs2 inlet together with a ruler near it to can approximate as much as I can the original dimensions.

The missing piece was in the box and when I drain the oil I found it, well, half of it. So it was a sign that some teeth from the box are damaged. I can hear them when releasing the throttle. Sorry, but my english is not so good and did not know lots of mechanical terms.
The O was broke and the tap goes into box and the C left into the boot, but the Circlip stays in place, just a little bend, but was there and the tripod did not come off.
The one from last picture. Not the Clip one which use a tool to put in place, the O one. I left with just the circle and the little tab goes into gearbox.
I replace the circlip and ring. The ring was broken, but sadly a small part goes into the box and I think it does smash a teeth. That is why when leaving the throttle it sound like a rattle. I found the small broken part in the oil, but it was half of the original size:)). So...a new gearbox, right?
I take of the driveshaft to look for the problem. On the left side is a clip and under it a ring. When the clip fails, the ring broke. How can I find a ring to replace it?
