Hi,
I need to reseal the rocker cap on my ph2 172. I understand that the cambelt need to be done again.
I replace the cambelt, dephaser, pulleys and tensioner in December 2016. It is possible just to remove tension from the cambelt, lock the cams and lock the crankshaft using the Renault kit? Like unlock the tension pulley, lock in the TDC position using the pin and then the cams. Also loosen a little the screw and nut from cams pulleys in order to align them right.
Hope someone could help me. I done all the belts at at romania Renault service and after removing the cams plastic covers there is a little
misalignment when put them in vertical position and really does not want to go there anymore. I can borrow the tools I need.
