It's on the bottom of the engine block :) and I'm not sure but it's a 2002 1.2 16v. The car has a warranty from the garage he bought it from so it's now been towed back to them! Thanks anyway
My mates has a 1.2 clio which the temperature gauge always sits at the bottom and the fans always running? And also the car cuts out under any acceleration and struggles on start up cutts out again.
Any ideas?
Re: My Renault Clio wont start or turn over, whirring / buzzing when I try to start i
All of the lights mentioned above are what are on during ignition and go off when started! What speed is the red light flashing at (alarm immobiliser in centre of cluster lights)?
I've had the same issue! Buy a cable from renault. Mine was 26pound I think, and takes 10mins to fit :) just unclip seat cover from underneath and roll up, watch the airbags though ;)
Its going to my mates garage tomorrow for a new wishbone so I'm getting them to replace it but I'm just concerned its nothing else as I'm skint :(
it wouldn't have anything to do with plugs or leads by any chance?
It's an intermittent fault as it doesn't always do it but mostly does! Would you say it's the tdc sensor still even though the weather isn't affecting it?
Thanks! Just got my driving review through and says I just need to watch my speed and acceleration so not bad! (Based on a lot of handbrake turns in snow, and hitting limiter in 1st and second sometimes ;) )
ill get round to it eventually hahaha
A few things been done since last update being 2x nankang tyres fitted to the front as the previous had detiriated and gone flat! Costing 100
also I've had 16mm hubcentric spacers fitted all round with longer bolts from jakey92.
the car is also going in for a new wishbone Friday
Unfortunately...
Anybody got a d.a that would like to give my car a go over? I've got a rear quarter which is looking dull ( guessing a home respray job) ill do all the preparation wash clay etc :)
money involved obviously
