Lol! Well on the face of it yes by looking at what Dan did it doesn't look good mate, but as you have said, if you get it mapped you can then prove beyond any doubt if there is any gain - keep us posted!
TBH mate im not sure. We have a lot to work out, as this has literally just come to light...
Thanks Tim, yes just to add to the above, we cannot release anything at the moment as we are still finalising at lot of things - we will have some great news to come next week :)
Thanks @masekwm !
@massivewangers yes mate I offer CS 12% discount on powerflex products - just head to my website at www.sw-autos.uk , choose if you want the normal bushes or black series ones, then use the drop down list to select which bushes you want - then when you head to the checkout...
And now its mine!
As some of you know I had to sell the Ph1 - wedding funds were running low so needs must. This I was very sad about as it really was something I wanted to finish. Lucky for me, my good friend @Jamie86 came to the rescue and we came to a very happy deal where he got my Ph1 and...
Lovely Davy boy! (How you been? Not seen you in a while!)
Oh I can get lots of aftermarket bits for M cars (including eibach obviously ) - come to me first! ;)
Sorry for the late reply mate, got married over the weekend so haven't been near the laptop!
Ooh looking good! wiring is coming along nicely! Boring fact for you, my Dad worked for Raychem for years and helped design one of the machines that made the heat shrinkable plastic wiring sleeves :)
Any 1.8T needs some decent conrods. Although some (like the BAM engines) have better stuff, they are still the weak point, so a set of decent rods, ARP conrod bolts, a K04 turbo and good map will easily see a genuine and reliable 270+bhp.
A k03S will get you 240 max, or a hybrid will spool up...
Hi mate, 172 cup and 182 cup rear shocks are the same part number now, these are slightly stiffer than normal 172/182 shocks.
The rear suspension is interchangeable, it's the fronts which are not on cup packed cars
Part number you need is 8200681125
I would also suggest replacing them both...
See I can appreciate them, but any 'new' Mini does literally nothing for me :/
I have sold a couple of Cooper S's and as much as i wanted to, i just didn't click at all. In fact I couldn't wait to get out of both of them.
This saddens me as they do look like lots of fun, but i just cannot gel...
FLOL!
I find my self getting a little too anal tbh, but my next project will get a proper loom, I have some great ideas for it and will be taking my time with this one :)
I love tidy wiring - it's been about 5 years since I list had to build a loom (I made the engine loom for my mates Sierra XR4x4 - we fitted twin turbos and had to fit new management as it went low compression and ended up at near 300 bhp / torques lol) and I really enjoy it.
Its not as scary as...
If it has the numbers missing it could be an import.
I have owned 5 Exclusives now and one was an import (From Belgium I believe) as they were also sold on the Continent.
It is a common misconception that only 172 were built - there were more built, but only 172 officially sold in the UK...
I have seen 172 and 182's with a external fuel filter mounted just before the fuel tank on the passenger side.
Literally no theme though, my first ph1 had it, 3 others didn't, my old racing blue 182 did but our liquid yellow didn't lol
