Thanks for asking mate :) I'm going to get the 172 rear stub axles to bring the wheels in more as they're a bit shorter than my 182 ones. And probably still add some camber while I'm at it.
Maybe in the long run I'll get the arches rolled as well.
Like Ross said, I guess it's at the officers...
I did a step by step in my old progress thread mate, lots of pictures as well.

That looks cool mate! I probably wouldn't get away with it being a young driver with a chavved up Clio ;)
Saying that, the police don't seem to be too bad around here tbh.
I've iust spent about 20 mins trying to find out the actual law on this. It seems to be quite a grey area though.
I've seen people saying
-no tyre tread sticking out
-no tyre at all
-nothing sticking past the arches
Then there's all the angles that people are saying -
It only counts...
Is there a limit as to how many people can go on track? 2 of my mates are interested that's all.
EDIT: Just seen it's 10 people. If we get a bigger turnout would we just split the group and have 2 races?
It it will be going lower so hopefully I can make it work :)
Haha :p yeah not everyone will like them and yeah I think it's the actual tread of the tire? I could be wrong though. plus this is the point of the thread really, I'm looking for ways of making the wheels not stick out as much.
So...
I'll go for the 172 stub axels first, hopefully they'll make enough difference. After that I think camber shims will be the only option apart from rolling the arches.
Ah right okay, I assumed that they were the same thing. Didn't realise you could get the camber separate to spacers. They will...
Haha, still not sure on keeping them white :p
Yeah didn't expect everyone to like them, they're definitely a marmite wheel!
Are the 172 and 172 cup ones the same mate?
What's the difference mate? I thought they were the same thing if I'm honest. How wide are those shims?
Thanks mate :) will be good when they're fitted properly!
Ooh that sounds like a good idea. How would I go about doing that?
Yeah I'll wind the coilovers down once they're fitted...
Dan@M.A.D. does some that are -2 degrees. I'm not even sure that they would be enough to tuck the wheels in though!
I had an accident with a kerb a while back :(
Ah right okay, I don't mind a little bit of wear but I want my tyres to last more than 100 miles :p hadn't thought about doubling...
As a few of you know I've just gone and bought some Rota Grid's. Came to fit them the other morning and I think the rear ones stick out a little too far.
Here's a few quick photos -
What's everyone else's opinion on them? Is there anything I can do to get the back wheels in a bit...
That Inferno looks awesome! The Rotas lol nice in white but I think they'll look better a different colour ;)
Yeah as Tom said, I've actually had them on for a while but just never have time to update the thread! Thanks again mate :)
