Manufacturers have been locking people into products for years. It's nothing new that only relates to Apple.
Plus, you have the ultimate choice of whether not to use Apple projects.
I continue to use Apple because I like them and I can use them. My experience of Android is that it's hard work...
I CBA with the admin of doing it on Apple's finance, rather than just laying it on an interest free CC I already have.
As it stands, looks like it can wait for a little bit.
I was set to buy myself a 6S tonight, but the CC I thought was interest free on purchases isn't.
Dead annoying.
With the house stuff at the moment, I don't want to shell out £700 until everything is done.
I've never used / tried the in ear version, but the over ear (QC15) are fantastic. Even on turbo props, there is an absolutely massive noise reduction.
Make sure everything is ticked to sync.
iCloud shouldn't matter. My iPod touch isn't signed in, as I just use it in the car.
If it is all set up to sync, then try leaving it plugged in on the sync screen for a while, as mine took a while, albeit that was 60gb of music.
The biggest issue I have with Netflix is the UI.
Why can't you search by top rated for example? As that would cut a lot of crap out.
But it does seem to be a bit desperate film wise at the moment.
All smart phones, when used as smart phones have w**k battery life. It's no surprise really, is it?
I mean, if you ask a screen to be illuminated for 12 hours a day, use the Internet, make calls and text, then it's not likely to be like on the battery.
I had an old Nokia for my work phone...
@Goodj i doubt very much your case will be delivered by RM.
Usually when it's a release (assuming you're ordering direct from Apple) they'd be shipped together as they're both held in the same place.
If you're ordering a handset from a network and an accessory from Apple, then they'll come...
Anyone else's screen become really unresponsive since iOS 9?
I'm trying to use my calendar, and it's not recognising me pressing the date to get out of month view into day view.
And trying to put my security code in is a ball ache too.
On a 5S by the way.
Will either get a 6 or a 6S in the coming weeks.
My 5S is fine, but I want to do some swapping around, so my OH can have the 5S and I'll use her 5 at work as a BYOD, to get rid of this dreadful blackberry z10. An utterly dreadful OS, which frustrates me every single day.
Buy whatever you're going to buy from John Lewis or Richer Sounds. JLP will he you the guarantee as standard, if it's a model JLP carry, RS will match the guarantee.
In a slightly similar vein, I was stood for about 45 seconds touching my card on a card reader before the person behind the counter pointed out it wasn't contact less.
I have no clue what took them so long to point it out, I don't know what sort of mental episode they thought I was having, just...
It's been doing that with my VW as well.
Although it seems less prevalent on the touch I have started using rather than the iPhone. I don't know if that's just because I've been doing less driving. I have about 1500 miles to do this week, so should give it a good stability test.
I still need...
Apple music was being a dick when I was in Germany. I have all my iTunes library on my phone, but because data roaming was off, it didn't seem to want to show the library, took a load of attempts to get it to display and in and out of various menus.
Plus, iTunes 12 (I think that's what we're up...
My 2nd point of contact is the CEO.
The company get 1 chance to sort the problem, if they don't, then the boss gets emailed.
I've also emailed the CEO of places to compliment them as well it should be said.
The trouble is, the front line are tasked with essentially fobbing people off. Couple...
A good chunk of people on public transport have their phone in their hand. They can hold the phone on or close to the pad without having to get anything out of their pockets.
Hence why stickers for the back of phones to make contact less payment are available.
The different ways the systems can work, on line / off line.
As for the point of it, it's usually that your phone is more accessible than your bank cards, so is easier to use.
