Hi all, Removing air con from my 03 172. I had to cut the plug from the pump and want to know if I can remove this wiring back to the fuse board and pull the relay/fuse and have no adverse effects? Could do with a layout of the fuses and relays if so. Thanks.

Sounds like what Im doing with mine, get the fundamentals sorted and just enjoy it. To many people enter into these 'epic' builds and never drive it!

I have a similar noise, like a whirr/supercharger noise, at low speeds. Im going to change the (currently black) fluid and see if that helps.

You can swap for a Scenic gear lever which is slightly taller, and fit a yanoo stiff shift which will tighten the feel up.

Ive just done the same with my hanger + tigerseal, works a treat. You might need a new centre hanger, needs to be the red rubber.

On my 182 I had the powerflex bushes in the mounts and found they constantly tilted or moved about, so I had them bonded in with tigerseal. On my 172 Ive filled a standard mount with tigerseal and seems to be a very similar stiffness. Its easy to replace the hangers, if nothing snaps! On my...
