Re: Latest Update
I'm unsure if they know about it but if you actually look at the middle picture of the door cards it shows that the handle mount is upside down

I'm 100% sure they DO NOT fit unless you hammer the...
Re: Latest Update
Yes they are the wrong, the handles dont fit in the orginal holes and when you pull the handle it hits the metal so you will need to cut part of your door away and attach the handle with a new bolt and nut.
It didnt matter too much with this cars doors as we were trimming...
I do love that flase floor, looks really good.
Well with ET 27 your as wide as you can get on the rear whilst running decent camber. A small trimming of the little lip on the rear arch is needed. You could then use a small hubcentric spacer on the front to give it a slightly wider track...
Re: 'Sir_Dave's Caged, Cleaned & Toyed-with Shed Trophy Paedo Wagon
The rusty bits on the wheels is a familar sight to me! Dave have you seen the brakes sparking at night? The sparks jump up near the wing mirror sometimes
You want a 60mm dished backing plate from Reverie and a Pipercross C-604D filter so you can put 120mm trumpets on in the furture :)
Tbh one you have a filter on and your bonnet on then it wont sound so Scary ;)
Yeah they are in a nice flat place but could comprimise the filter choise if he...
I saw this car on Friday and it is the t*ts.
It's a shame your bonnet has the areocatches cut where they are because you may struggle to get a decent filter on with a proper backing plate.
Still, it sounded quiality when you drove off :)
Looks like a great build, more information is needed on this different waterpump system. I have seen electric wasterpumps from merlin Motorsport! Is that what this car will have?
Re: Ollie's Silver Cup - JMS RS2/428s/Wilwood/2118
The hoses are in excactly the same place and they fit spot on. I'm sure JMS could knock up a small bracket for the smaller rad. The info is in my project thread, its in big writing i think :)
Removing the slam panle will make it look neater...
Re: Ollie's Silver Cup - JMS RS2/428s/Wilwood/2118
Oh his birthday! 18th of July I think.
If you use areocatches and remove the slam panel then the top of the radiator will flop forward and backward and it may hit your fancy carbon airbox. So there are two options you could do. Buy a...
I'm about 99% finished now :D but i've been rebuilding my car for 12 months now. And you've only had yours off the road for a few months.
Also i dont suppose you have those pictures on you of the rear 1/4 plastics :)
Dont get be wrong the car is quite cool, but i just dont like the fact its got a V8, i prefer those type of drift cars to have the turbo'd engines and have them bouncing off the limitter, spitting flames and making lots of bangs.
Videos are good, if you can then mount the camera on the front bumper looking forward, I got pretty much no wind noise because of the itb's drowning it out.
Ooo kenny you have gone very hardcore with the door cuttage!! How are you going to attach your plastic windows? You appear to have cut the bits off which you usually would have put self tappers into. You will probably need to bond the window in all the way along the bottom of the window.
Looks...
Re: 182 track weapon attempt
Changing the subject slightly, make sure your sandwich plate is super tight, I thought mine was but the foooker has been leaking a little :(
So just make the that silly sized bolt thing is nice and tight and you'll be fine.
Keep up the good work!
Hope you sort out the electrics out soon nick!
I don't suppose you have pictures of the rear 1/4 plastics bonded in, just give me a bit of help as to how well they can be fitted :)
