I have seen this discussed somewhere a while ago, may have been old posts on here or over on 197.net, but i seem to remember it being quite a pain in the ass loom wise.

The fabric trim on the door card arm rest, where the window switches are, is starting to get quite grubby and look worn. It's a mk3 clio, what's the best thing to do to bring them back to life? Cheers Dom

Yeh, I have the flicking number plate lights, put it down to cheap LEDs from ebay as when I change the bulb it's okay for a bit, may be more to it though if you are having the same problem, still got no left indicator, I'm going to take it in to renault as its under warranty, I'll let you know...

Same happening on mine. I've done some reading and apparently it is often the earth point near the boot. Also check for corrosion in the number plate lights

Silver vision indicator bulbs front and back if you haven't already done it. If its a ph1, look at fitting the ph2 rear lights, look much cleaner imo
