I will get some photos after work!
They sit a lot lower, but not ridiculously low.
I ordered the normal slim seat and it is very slim.. tight on waist and I'm not big at all. Many of my friends have no chance on fitting in them lol
Hi mate, it was just the case of moving the original spacers around and getting it perfect.
I took the rails off the sidemounts so that it sits lower. So there isn't any adjustment!
I got them all on ebay. 4x30mm m8 bolts for subframe to sidemounts. Then 4x80mm m8 bolts for subframe to car. Bought washers and bolts at the same time. They were all high tensile bolts.
I believe it was 73mm all the way through. I used high temperature paint on the inlet and then filed the...
Thankyou :). Heres the link http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RAMAIR-Black-Aluminium-80mm-Bellmouth-Trumpet-End-Cap-Air-Inlet-Funnel-/390681153772?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item5af66950ec
Hope that helps
This is very nice :). Looks incredible clean! Finding the issues in the first week of ownership seems a common thing when you buy a 182, I ended up spending a fortune sorting a few things out as soon as I bought mine!
Today I decided to sort out a few little bits on the Clio. Bought the resistors to turn off the airbag and service lights which appeared after changing the wheel and drivers seat.
I have wanted to remove the headlight washers for a little while now.. ever since they caused utter grief on my last...
Looks good, still fancy getting a 197 as a daily.. White wheels would look great!
I have a decat yozza on my 182 and its silly loud. Its very fun, but parents+neighbours+General public really don't like it.
I have just fitted one to my 182! I needed a OMP Subframe and that was it..
Amazing seat, really has transformed the car.. Here is a few photos
Really was easy to fit, I can get more photos of the subframe fitment if anyone wants.. but it is very self explanatory
So the preparation has started for making my car a bit more 'Track Spec'.
I have bought a few new things in the last week for it. First off was a new seat, I looked around for a decent seat which didn't break the bank and still managed to do the job.
I went for the Corbeau Clubsport! Absolutely...
The f40 is just incredible.
The driver of the f40 has driven my 182 on a few occasions and he loves it, its actually difficult to get him out the car once he has taken it for a spin!
I find it difficult to think that anyone can be impressed with a Clio after having access to such a vast...
He said that he will get an application form out shortly for the position ;).
Car throttle have just done a short post on their website about the video :).
Glad everyone likes it, he is thinking what I can film for him next! Hopefully some more videos will be made.
Haha :) his dad doesn't mind, he would be in it doing the same if he was there. But maybe not I'm the F40!
A couple more photos of the collection. Didn't realise so many people would post..
Hi guys,
Earlier this week I had the opportunity to be passenger in my dream car being driven as it should be driven.
I have looked around the F40 on a few occasions whilst it was being restored and always thought that I would love to go in that car one day. Well after a quick joke about...
So the last week has been eventful. Car passed MOT, Front tyres were an advisory. Replaced them both with Michelin Pilot Sport 3's, amazing so far, have only done 40 miles on them but they really are fantastic.
The car is now very loud thanks to the de cat for the Yozzasport.
Good news is that...
They are Nankang NS-2R. Near enough semi slicks. Extremely good tyres, done over 5000 miles on them and they are ready to be replaced now!
The only thing that let's them down is the brand name..
Soo it was MOT time. It failed... Steering rack gaiters split, headlight washers inoperative, drivers side headlight beam too Low.
Right pain to fix certain bits, but as I am currently out of work I started work on it asap!
First thing was to sort the headlight beam out, due to the light...
Fitted the cooksport springs and cup dampers tonight. Sits very similar to the way it did with the coilovers.. need to get the tracking done asap. Feels a lot nicer to drive!
