Clutch change on a 172/182 will, in most cases, be cheaper than the belt change is. We do a replacement OE 3 piece kit for £350+VAT and I know we're not the cheapest.

Nope, the port is powered via the accessory fuse so if the radio is working the port should have power.

I've no problems with that. It won't be back until August though I suspect. I'm away in the US for pretty much all of April then it needs a rear beam and some other bits before I'm booking anymore days out
