Front pads have now been changed for DS2500. I’ve given the callipers a coat of silver hammerite but the light went off like a switch this evening. Also got a large can of bilt hamber and sprayed the inside of the wings whilst the wheels were off just to give them protection.

    Laptop, phone remote/wireless backup options

Looking for recommendations on what backup options there are for laptops, iPhones and any other media I have needing to be backed up. I currently use iCloud and pay for that but want something where the whole families data is backed up in one place. If there is a wireless option that means I...

    Mart.'s 172 Cup

While since I updated but tonight moved the car and set about removing the front bumper so I can crack on with changing the radiator and PAS switch. With the bumper off I hadn’t appreciated how much $h!t had built up in there over the years so cleared all of that out. Just purchased some...

Very nice. I agree the noise is addictive even on my e91 barge ? But agree on the MPG terrible around town, but weirdly very good on a long run.

Sorry to hear about the Bootlid. Hopefully you get something sorted. I’m just about to embark on getting the rear sturdy replaced as because as I like the low look of the rear fully expect something has worn out causing it to be so bad over bumps ? where did you get all the bits from?

    Mart.'s 172 Cup

Some wheels caught my eye last night so I impulse purchased again ? and collect next week. Bit of a random colour but as they are second wheels it doesn’t matter. OZ’s will be up for sale once the tyres are off and I have given the satin a fresh coat.

    New 172 Cup owner

Recaro Pole positions were on my List but would then be worth more than the cup ? so just opted to sell my recaros the same as you have in and go with a sparco pro2000. Look forward to seeing what you do with it. It is considered one of the best out there.

    New 172 Cup owner

I think the previous owner before him is/was on here. Kyle I think, sure he owned it for a fair amount of time that’s where I know it from I think. I’d be surprised if there’s not a project thread on here for it.

    New 172 Cup owner

I know what you mean. I think it’s already at a perfect spec by the looks of things, but there is always something as you know with any car. It’s the perfect base though. ?

Cruise control swap from a cruise wheel to non-cruise wheel

Are the steering wheels all the same in terms of they can all accommodate cruise control, regardless of whether or not they have had cruise on before? Is it just simply a case of swapping the buttons and wires across from one wheel to the other?

Great minds. Was searching for pole position earlier although a nice sparco pro2000 would do the job I think aswell. By the way the Impreza is ?

    Mart.'s 172 Cup

So purchased some bottom arms with black series bushes for a good price as mine look like they are starting to perish so can’t be good for handling. Also, this afternoon and after my experience on track at the weekend I’ve been contemplating selling the trendlines and getting a fixed bucket...

182... what upgrades would you fit to your perfect spec road car?

I’ve literally been contemplating going back to stock passenger seat and then a bucket seat for the drivers side and selling my trendlines this afternoon lol. Just think it would add further to the car but then again mines now a daily. I’m also scared of marking the trendlines. Lol.
