I really like the trendlines to look at but they gave me back ache through cornering at the weekend as I didn’t feel supported. I couldn’t do many trackdays in them but then again that’s not really what they are for. They weren’t too bad on a run.
Those mods you mentioned are swappable and so I don’t personally see trendlines, turinis etc as dead money. You will get all of your outlay back on those if you wanted to put back to standard. That’s what I’ve just done with my cup.
I was aswell and walked round the whole place looking for more unless I missed them ?♂️ Slowly going through replacing bits so least I know they are done. Just found my E91 leaking today from the rad but somehow feel that won’t be as cheap to buy ?
So attended CSF and it was great. Been to blyton a number of times now. It's one of my closest tracks, and I enjoy it a lot they are perfect for these cars.
So driving across in the morning I was thinking "oh this will be fun with no ABS or TC" ?
I ended up judging everything off when I was...
I do really like the wheels the more I look at them. Just think a slightly lighter colour will help bring the style of them out. Well done on the centre caps aswell.
Where did you get the centre cap from for the steering wheel by the way?
I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everybody involved in organising CSF.
First time I’ve been but can see the amount of organising something like this must take out of people’s personal time and the day was so well run. Thankfully the weather turned out great in the end ?
The money...
So as ever I leave everything to the last minute
Got the wheels on. They are a little rough but I quite like the satin so going to have a go at doing them myself again . These aren't permanent as the turinis look so much better in my opinion.
I've still got the front and rear spacers to go on...
I’m on in the morning so will wonder over in the afternoon
@OssPoop snap. My car is currently “wrapped” let’s say ? in bird poop and dust! So will try and get a bucket and sponge on it before if I get time!
I’ve got a different car ?♂️ Had a fiesta ST for the clio sport owners day last year still at Blyton but got the cup now and swore I wasn’t doing any trackdays in it. ?
So.... impulse purchased some OZ’s in 15” with basically new AD08R. They looked nice ?♂️ Manmaths! Will get the cleaned and on tomorrow if I have time.
I also ended up purchasing a sparco steering wheel as part of the deal.
So jump in the car over to wales on a Tuesday night. What can go...
MOT passed for another 12 months.
Sports cat flew through bang in the middle of the lambda readings.
Rear brakes were a little close to the wire but ok.
Managed to get to the source of the exhaust noise..... nuts and bolts between the cat and manifold loose and turns out they are a Complete...
Thanks gives me some hope. Just wanted to see if there was an easy and tried and tested way to do it first. Just the access is strange to something that connects up.
How the heck do you get to the join to change the gasket and bolts easily?
Turns out mine has worked itself loose but access is ridiculous for to tighten up without what looks like removing parts.
Is it best to remove the heat shield that sits around it?
