Spent most of today fitting the above but aint had a chance to finish yet.
The most annoying thing is that it already had some uprated bushes :mad: i should of checked 1st.
Just had the tracking re done and been out for a good spirited drive and I can't fault the new springs, they ain't too hard or too bouncy so I'm more than happy with them.
I've got some other bits to fit now.
Powerflex dog bone bushes
Group N upper engine mount
Group N upper gearbox...
1st impressions arecthat they are no different from the cup ones apart from the lower stance.
I have only done about 15 miles on them so I maybe jumping the gun.
Will deffo sort out the callipers then.
The springs are Apex 40mm ones, people on here havnt raved about them but I just went for a quick blast and I can't fault them yet.
I've got a full set of powerflex anti roll bar and gearbox bushes ect ect and also a cat back stainless exhaust.

Forgot to mention i fitted some Grooved front and rear discs and Yellow stuff pads.
Im thinking of getting another set of calipers and refurbing them black as i aint really feeling the yellow ones but if i do that means it'll be another set of wheels (dark) black diamonds and...
Im new to Clios but after looking at other threads i see that people have just a metal finish or is it that tow eyes are just gay full stop ?

Well my car had a spring changed for its MOT by a dealer before i picked it up, after realising it handled like a wet packet of poo i checked the spring and noticed it didnt have the 2 coloured marks on like the other side so i set out to get some new lowered ones, i was messed around for 2...
The IV was an ok Evo but you should of waited until you could of got a VI as its miles better than a IV (ive had 2 IVs, 3 VIs and a VII)
You're only 19 so dont write off getting another Evo yet :)

I looked for 4 weeks before i found my car, there were plenty up north for 2.5k but down south they were all dogs for that money.
I couldnt find a 182 for under 3k so ended up paying 2.5k for my c172 up and that wasnt perfect by a long way.
1st baby mate and I WTD something safe for her to travel in instead of the Golf Gti Turbo we had.
Sad fact is I know I'll never have another machine that could match it :(

Yep, a few years ago now.
He built an awesome car that he and his missus used for sprinting but since then i fitted a new forged engine and bigger turbo ect ect to make it that little bit more awesome.

If you come down for the alloys mate you can have a quick blast in it, 4.5 V8 with luxury a plenty, its an awsome car.
Anyway i fitted the new alloys today and tidyed up the engine bay which i think is a massive improvement.

Ive been into Renault Harlow a few times last week, i have a 53 plate Cup im 6ft 5" and have a shaved head so could of been me :)

It feels unstable and light sometimes, in the week I've had it I've changed all the bushes for poly ones, tyres, tracking twice, rod ends ect ect so this will hopefully restore my faith in it's handling ( or lack of it atm )
Are there any differences in the springs ?
Mine had one changed for an MOT before I got it and the car feels rubbish even though I have had it thourougly checked.
I've noticed the new spring does not have the 2 coloured marks on it that the old one has.
Are there any other larger calipers and discs that fit directly on the clio ?
I know back in the day i had Calibra Turbo Calipers and VW Corrado discs on my MK1 Astra GTE Turbo and 24v Senator Calipers on my Nova Turbo ect ect and they were a direct fit.
Has anyone found or tryed any other...

I ended up buying a new mount and cable from the stealers and fitted them both, its not a hard job really but i now have crystal clear sound.
My old mount and cable/wire looked in perfect cond but it obviously wasnt.
Basicly i have no reception at all, ive done everything already suggested when i searched the forum (took down headlining and cleaned base, screwed it on tight ect) what i did notice is that it has 2 wires coming from the base, is one supposed to have power to it and if so is it from the radio...
