How do you rate them compared to the Yokas though? Stickier enough to warrant the wear rate on track? I hear the ZZRs are meant to be awesome, too. The Caterham boys swear by the Avons over the 888s
One of the guys I speak to in the evo scene does some restoration work for him and talks to him quite frequently. Apparently he’s a really nice guy. Just a total nerd.

heh, the irony in that is shiny on the outside is exactly what 9/10 of these cars will be like. How many have had a full tear down. Probably less than you can count on one hand on here.
Far as I know the car had been sat for ages in a bubble so not really had any real road testing. Half the bolts on my Evo needed torquing and it hadn’t been used for two years after a refurb. Should recheck new bolts ideally. Live and learn...half the phase ones on here probably have rotten...
