Flol!!! My thread got locked after that banter! Lol. Yea coz my headlights didn't really look brand spanking new, they had phantom irreparable damage apparently!!!? #whatatool !!!
This is getting a bit pathetic now!!! I only put the post up as I was a bit pleased with myself, being a first time headlight restorer yet achieving amazing results, and wanted to share with others in the hope it might help them too!! I think people just need to pipe down and stop bickering...
It took me an hour per lense, but I'm very anal. I used nearly all the discs supplied, and think I probably needed to, but the results speak for themselves! Had serious backache afterwards though!!
Yeah exactly! Mine look brand new, not a mark on them and I absolutely blitzed them with 500 first! Just scroll back up to the top of the thread and take another look. Just gotta work your way back up to 3000 and be thorough with each grade. The state they were in I'd have been there all day if...
Hmm, I wonder!?? It's not on very much at the moment and no reserve! Personally I say just do it mate, and make me happy by selling me a nice Iceburg cup spoiler!?? :tonguewink::up:

Will somebody please buy this Iceburg Cup and break it as I WANT THE SPOILER! @cs_dave ?? That's all, I just want an Iceburg spoiler for Christmas, no painting, just bolt it on and go!!? Come on guys do this for me!? :tongueclosed:
Cheers mate, yeah it was clearly well looked after before I got it, one of the last 172s I'm guessing, being on an 04 plate!? Tidy bodywork and underneath. Only got 58,500 on the clock and the engine is sweet! Running a full decat K-tec system and induction kit, and made 184.5 last time on the...
So I don't really have a 'project thread' as such,......... well I guess now I do! I've done quite a few bits and bobs to the car so far to get it to where I'd like, but the most significant so far being the addition of a nice mint set of anthracite 182 wheels, big thanks to @Ash J for those...
looooooool!!! 😂😂😂
Reading this thread has cheered my evening right up. Brilliant. I'm with @imprezaworks by the way, somebody needs to get more sleep!!! Hahaha.
😂^^^love that
On a serious note, I've just bought some G3 wind deflectors, £22 and they are really good quality, fit well, look good, better than the Heko ones imo. They would stop that and reduce wind noise in the car when on motorways etc with the windows down a couple of...
Did you also know that Turinis, i.e. standard cup wheels, believe it or not, weigh exactly 7.36kg more than standard 172 wheels,...... so if you were thinking about or have bought some then I'll swap with you for my standard ones?? What do you say??
Yep I'm with you on that one, I've got an Iceburg 172 so the silver trim luckily was perfect for me! The quality of them is so good eh. £18 cheaper too, definitely a bargain! ;)
