    The Cars Spotted Appreciation Thread

I’ve driven about 170 miles today, no photos but spotted some incredible stuff. All on their own too so no car shows: Gallardo x 2 Huracan cab Murcielago Aventador cab x 2 RR Phantom 458/488 x about 5 355 spider 720s AMG GTR GT3/GT3 RS x about 5 then the 2 best, bayside blue R34 GTR and a...

Why would I want to do that?! Personally if I was using one all day I’d get a corded one

Had a go with it today. It’s decent, dust collector box works pretty well and caught a lot more than I expected sanding filler down. It’s quite heavy and bulky when working overhead but to be expected I guess with a big battery.

Still not used it but hopefully will be on Sunday, if I get chance to do enough filling tomorrow in between other s**t I’ve got to do in there!

Stuck in the past mate! This has a dust collector box with a proper filter so be interesting to see if it works at all.

Yeah I regret selling the E46’s, I’ll have another next year hopefully. You’re invite to drive the Noble and FF was subtle but noted, pm me the postcode 😎 You can have a go in my Transit or XJS in return.

Damn not an E36, tried to buy a couple of evo coupes but gave up as could never find one that was good enough. Ive had 3 E46 M3’s, 1 E90 M3, 1 E92 M3 and a Clio V6 that match on your list. And for the record I‘d love a Noble at some point

So was I mate. These will out perform Cayman GT4’s easily. Theres 63 GT4’s for sale on auto trader, 3 V6’s.

People thought they were over priced when I sold mine for £20k. There’s not many cars I’d call a proper investment but these are firmly in that camp, you’ll never see anything like them again. I love Cayman GT4’s but you could go out tomorrow and buy a dozen, not many of these about.

Yep, proper petrol head car but a lot of people seemed to know a bit about them and seem keen for a look. You just don’t see them ever, I’ve only ever seen 2 on the road excluding the one I had.

Mine is probably the car i most want back out of everything. Terrible in so many ways but nothing has put a bigger smile on my face. That said I’d take a GT3 over one being realistic, but would be in my 5 car garage with no doubts.

    Wi-Fi Repeater Router thing?

So it was none of the above, can’t have 2 hive hubs on one account so I set another account up and it’s working perfectly first time 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ Ah well you live and learn!

    Wi-Fi Repeater Router thing?

@Rich-D @hopgop1 The TP link arrived today, set up perfectly but the Hive still doesn‘t work so I think it’s faulty rather than the distance thing now! Great bit of kit though, works well as I plugged my laptop into the Ethernet and it was perfect.

    Wi-Fi Repeater Router thing?

Yeah that might be the next little purchase. Just want to get the heating sorted first!

    Wi-Fi Repeater Router thing?

Clever stuff, thanks for explaining. The hive has 3 boxes: 1. Hub, this is wired to the router and then talks to the app on my phone and also the controller wirelessly 2. Controller, this replaces the existing controller for the heating 3. Thermostat, this connects wirelessly to the...

    Wi-Fi Repeater Router thing?

They seem perfect, I think?! So yeah the Wi-Fi router is in the living room, but with the hive hub plugged in there it won’t connect to the controller in the utility. So with this thing I could plug this next to my router and connect with Ethernet cable. Then the other one plug into the utility...

    Wi-Fi Repeater Router thing?

You need to talk slower I’m an idiot. I need a Wi-Fi receiver with an Ethernet port to plug the hive into, I think.
  26. Pep

    Wi-Fi Repeater Router thing?

Not quite the same as that, the Hive thing plugs into the router but it’s too far from the other hive thing it needs to talk to. Thanks, do you have one? So can I put this in another room and it will connect to my existing Wi-Fi and send it further? Or does it need to plug into the existing...

    Wi-Fi Repeater Router thing?

Fitted a Hive Smart Thermostat but I’ve got a problem where the hub is plugged into my router but it’s too far away from the controller to allow me to control the whole system remotely on my phone. Is it possible to buy something that will pick up the Wi-Fi from the router but I can physically...

Properly impressed with it, I was only screwing into timber today but it takes no effort at all. Some masonry stuff tomorrow.
