Yeah it was a little easier for me, I can see your dilemma though ....... your Trophy as standard on track should be great on track anyway so you should be able to have both......
Hi Mate, I have posted a thread on Cliotrophy.co.uk, hopefully that should keep it updated, if I have missed anything (which I probably have) let me know.
Cheers
:smile:Thanks @Scrooge @Keith185 @R-Sport Cars LTD
@sburrell93 - yeah, knowing the status that goes with a Trophy to destroy one does seem a little strange, but the car still looks and goes well. Hope to catch you up there....
......last email for now
The winter break is a terrible thing and boredom generally means sitting on Cliosport, looking for advice and things that can be done to improve, modify or generally make your toy a little different from others………….. and so development goes on!
I know it’s just a track...
Out again in July, another spectacular day and the car is running amazingly well. The temps that day were through the roof and after a 10 lap burst you couldn’t touch the wheels when you come back in!! unbelievable the white wheels are absolutely baked in dust and the biggest disappointment of...
As I wanted to take a passenger I needed a second seat. This is where my OCD kicks in a little!! I don’t want to lose the seat I have so I set about sourcing a brand new Sabelt Taurus seat to match and I managed to get one J. It’s in Ireland, but brand new and slightly larger so I can sit my...
Next was a clean-up of the GAZ coilovers, lubricate and re-install and installation of the prima racing solid exhaust mounts as the originals were past their best and had the usual cable ties and old sockets holding the exhaust tailpipes in the position they were meant to be in. Massive...
TRACK TROPHY 381 – PROGRESS TO DATE
Hi all, I have been mulling over doing a build thread from when I bought the Clio over a year ago, so I have finally decided to bore you with the car’s progress to date.
A quick photo below of it sitting ready to go for its 2015 track outings before I run...
Links below mate (hope they work as pasting from iPad is never good), saw them when ordering my poly ones. Red wishbones you'd be as well buying the new arms with bushes and ball joints fitted...

I have these and at Knockhill the Clio goes really well with them, keep thinking about an upgrading them, but so far never failed and don't see the need to change at all!
weathers looking good mate, I've been holding off the same as you, ill check it again tonight before I book up! you booked for the performance French day on the 31st as well??
Hi Shaun, I had the same dilemma as you have now a month ago..... Bottom line I went for it and built one for the track. My initial build photos are In the gallery, haven't regretted any of it. Similar spec to your list above and to be fair still going lol.....
couple of my mates did the...
I know, should have changed lead number 3 as well as the plug! Live and learn..... Anyway Fraz, wouldn't have had my near death experience with you if I had lol (only joking mate)......:D
Seems to have been the leads..... New plugs and leads in and all seems good so far!!!
Fingers crossed the next outing will last a little longer than the last :p
Me too mate, hoping new leads and plugs will sort it out, strange one though, can understand the mini plug not standing up, but would have thought Fraser's one would have lasted a little longer than it did.......
