Hmm cheers Fred. I had a quick look yesterday (through the wheel) and thought they looked low, but off the top if my head, I'd say they were 5-6mm friction material NOT including backing plate. Will check again.

Surely it's had a front end off followed by a 'light' roll (though how the fvck rolling a car can ever be described as 'light' beats me!) You wouldn't get that front end & C pillar damage from vandalism.

As I understand it, they were standard until the 2003 (03) model year when they became optional extras. My 53-plate doesn't have one.

Always do the passenger side first...... ;)
