When I changed my front tyres recently, they advised me to get my tracking checked due to uneven wear too. Can any garage do this, or does it needs to be somewhere with specialist equipment?
Sorry, but it just looks...err... tarty.
And that'll govern the majority of responses you'll get on the road, just like any other swish German motor.
Just not my cup of tea, and I find it a strange replacement for a Vee - it's a total antithesis.
Fine if you want to spend £13k on a car and decide on an alternative route :)
Not so good if you want to spend £7k on a car and make it go a bit faster.... :rasp:
Hmm cheers Fred. I had a quick look yesterday (through the wheel) and thought they looked low, but off the top if my head, I'd say they were 5-6mm friction material NOT including backing plate. Will check again.
Surely it's had a front end off followed by a 'light' roll (though how the fvck rolling a car can ever be described as 'light' beats me!)
You wouldn't get that front end & C pillar damage from vandalism.
