Holy jebus you've fitted track tyres in Autumn. You know that these take lots of warmth before they are any good? And its raining. Hard to get them that warm, id deffo go road tyres for the road, you'll actually get more grip than these.
As for the wheels, once lowered/ if it is lowered once...
Have met a few garage owners like this, hate it when people try and mug you off and treat you like a pr*ck.
Have just read that they've welded it together and its irreversible. You wont be able to get an mot like that... I'd try get them to fix it.
I wouldn't get a 172 cup if you aspire to do lots of motorway miles. They'll sit at silly revs and only have 5 gears. No cruise/ abs/ traction for winter, and the seating position isn't great for relaxed cruising.
What you have is ample for the track. The only thing i'd add is some ducts from the fogs to the brakes if its hot, but then see how hot your brakes get (will depend on how hard you push it).
Book a few track days, and see if you can find ones which have some instructors you can pay for tuition...
Probably not bud. Why not concentrate on being a better driver instead? Take some lessons on fast road driving, head out into the hills, learn to corner, that kinda thing. A 1.4 is the perfect car to learn in, and will make you faster than any flame kit.
Peace.
Brakes and suspension will be the biggest changes you can make to a clio. brembo hc discs, ds2500 pads and baided lines with good fluid is fine, as the car is so light. remove the fogs and run some ducting through to the arch and itll help cooling.
Coilovers are worth the money when you can...
You tried to prove that Trophys are not worth big money by advertising yours for big money?
I'll give you 6k for it depending on age and condition. I think I wrote that the first time around actually.
This looks lovely Christopher. Id like to do similar if I had a 200. I'd add a black ktec bolt in cage and red harnesses though. Extinguisher on the floor of passenger side.
What suspension is this on? H&R springs or coilovers?
