I have just done my 182, I don't think I have gained any actual power, maybe a couple of BHP, but it pulls a lot harder from lower down, midrange is improved quite a bit on mine, really easy to use as well...

To be fair I don't usually go very far, so I don't usually have breakdown cover, and I have just had new tyres fitted, and don't really like the idea of f*cking a new tyre with a can of foam for a puncture. just wondered if anyone had found a spacer saver solution,

You really had very little constructive to add to the thread, so why bother posting at all? I didn't ask what you carry in your boot, I asked if people carried or used a spare for a 182, a can of Foam and a 12v compressor is no use to you if your tyre is shredded, equally, your tyre is no good...
I haven't had a blow out, and the car already has a jack in it, maybe it won't happen, but that's a bit like saying, why bother having insurance as you never crash? obviously you know better than most of the major car manufacturers who put spare wheels in their cars.....

Does anyone carry a spare round with them? I appreciate you get the foam cans, but they aren't much use with a blowout, I would just feel safer carrying a spare, or at least having a spare for longer journeys, if so what do you use?
Cheers

Averaging 79mpg?....................., auto wipers are a pain in the ar*e, one of the very few things I don't like about mine, but I can live with them....

Well just got back in after mapping the car and taking out for a spin, and i am really pleased, the power delivery feels so linear, doesn't bog at all, and builds nicely as the revs do, i would really recommend it anyone who hasn't done it already, it really is an excellent mod IMO....

Oh I like the sound of that, any chance you could pm me some details and I will probably flog my RS tuner when I am done, already had a PM asking about it...
Cheers

Well my tuner arrived this morning, so I just need to apply for a licence and map, and I will hopefully be sorted, I am looking forward to see what the difference feels like...

Ok, now I am p!ssing my pants, about 5 seconds after I seen chris's add for his RS tuner that I had to have one now, ordered and on it way, I have say the more I drive mine, the more it feels sluggish low down, so I am really looking forward to getting mine sorted now.....
I know this might...
Can anyone quickly tell me if a standard RS Tuner at 199 euros comes with a license and a map? i am trying to find out before i buy a second had one that i need to purchase a map and license for?
Thanks
Willo
I cant wait to get an RS tuner for my 182, i was going to get one this month, but just had to tax it and put tyres on it, so it will be next month now......:dapprove:
