    Lancer Evolution Appreciation Thread

Consumables are astronomical by anything you've ever even thought about before. I use mine on track, and it'll happily do 5MPG and empty the tank 4-5 times in a day. Brakes, terrible, big brake kit a must if you go anywhere near smooth tarmac. Drivetrain, I've never ever launched mine...

Whatever it's up for, put that same amount aside again for year 1 maintenance; if you plan on actually using it.

    My New VXR (Holden content)

Hero. Needs a full exhaust and a terribly mapped idle to win completely.

The Power PC Thread [f*ck off consoles]

I've got an i9-7980XE here that's seen light use, I've benched it to 4.5 GHz and it's all good. CS price is 1000. (y)

Both brilliant in their own ways. I remember the Autocar front page from the RS2 release: FASTER THAN A MCLAREN F1* *0-30mph

    will they fit? ad08r 195 55 15

You can use a calculator, but AD08R are massive. Even if you placed them next to a different 195/55R15 tyre. On just lowering springs, you should be fine.

    Astra GSi - Mk4

They run out of fuel on a standard map, let alone trying to accommodate for more boost! The steering on a Corsa VXR should be enough to preclude anyone who can drive, from buying one.

    Astra GSi - Mk4

I blame my old man, countless 8v and red-top Astra GTE's, GSI3000 and Lotus Carlton's, etc when I was a youngster. Good times.

    Astra GSi - Mk4

I used to quite like these when they were new, I reckon a black one wouldn't be a bad daily. The VXR was basically the same car underneath AFAIK, with a bit of work on the engine and turbo bits and pieces. I do tend to have rose-tinted specs for hot-Vauxhalls though, mostly late 80's early...

Might even get a bit of change from 100k, maybe. This dude in Tokyo runs one as a road car (R30WRC), mega props.
