This is true, but you don't have to connect them to your network if you don't want too. What you find is that's it's the factory default login that people are not changing that's the problem
It's a NVR you want (network video recorder) and one with Poe.
Plug cameras with Poe into the dedicated ports, this will send power and data down one cat5/6 to the camera. Stick a 2+tb drive in and your away. You connect the nvr to your router but the bandwidth will be on separate networks so...
This is a proper system, what professional security installers would install. Yale and the like are just diy stuff you would get from Maplins or whatever. It's chalk and cheese
Yes I have fitted both before and I'm doing it again in my new house in the next two weeks. I've wired everything...
Hikvision IP cameras of your choice connected to a hikvision NVR with inbuilt POE .
Texecom premier elite or richochet ( if you need wireless) alarm system. Can get a coms-ip module so you have app based access to the alarm and any notifications.
And they work very well too, even as good as proper hdbaset ones that cost 10x as much. This is the Neet one you want, it has a hdmi loop out so you won't even need a splitter:
Neet® HDMI Extender over Single Cat 6 with IR Control + HDMI Loop out - 1080p Full HD 3D - 50m - N72Pro V2...
This is all correct, forget all the other bolo on tinternet. No mainstream engines are in anyway bench run in or similar. To get the best seal on the rings and thus the best power, varied and relatively aggressive load but not ringing it's neck.
Took me 6 months to find a white one, in that condition. Was pretty mint. The clutch on them are ridiculously heavy, second only to a Diablo I drove. Every pull away was a launch! Drove one with a paddle clutch, pretty much undrivable
Thought I would add a few of mine. Unfortunately like a c**t I cant find loads of printed ones and a load of digital stuff. Must hunt them down.
Anyway this my first valver I had at 18, pretty much standard apart from a full magnex and IK.
Next one was always trouble. Renualt shite...
That's poo news Martin! Good about your bike though, miss my riding days.
Regarding the brakes, I mentioned it when you first bought them that Alcons previously were basically race spec and as such don't have road seals/boots fitted. It's looking like that this is the case, can't believe...
I use mede8er players. Mede8er and dune are pretty much the standard for stand alone players for mkv and BD iso's. Play from nas or usb, support for 3d/hd audio etc.
The modules are being fitted in the ceiling as an example as they require a neutral which UK switches won't have. There is ways around this, re-wire with a Nuetral or some of the modules work without the Nuetral however the better mosfet z-wave modules (qubino) are best for led bulbs which I...
I've not including everything's that's going in, nor how the systems work together, that's the interesting bit.
The Vera systems is highly configurable, but you need to learn the system and for me not being able to do any coding it's a steep learning curve. This with the roomie remote app will...
I'm currently renovating my house. I am installing:
near on full automation using Vera (auto dimmable lights with scenes etc.)
Distributed audio (Sonos, in ceiling and wall speakers,announcements/alarm/smoke over Sonos. )
distributed HD over cat6 (Sky/media server to all rooms)
Discrete home...
