Just had a quick search on ebay, and the 'clips' seem to be £80-£100
Maybe better/cheaper than rs tuner
Anyone got any links to a 'clip' system that they use
Sorry guys another RS tuner based thread,
Basically im thinking of buying an rs tuner for diagnostics, we have 4 clios in the household (lucky us, not)
a 182, 2x 1.2 and a 1.4
I was going to buy the abs and airbag modules to go with it as between us we have abs lights and airbag lights on lol...
As above, looks like the high pressure power steering hose
My one leaked and its a pain to change 😧
I did write up a guide in the guides section from when i did mine
happy days, they are pretty easy to get power out of, hybrid turbo and another map and i dont think i'd be far off,
cant justify it though, i hardly use it as it is lol
good to know theres someone pretty local, if i dont do things myself i always struggle where to take it,
even better to know he knows his was around an rs
The way i look at it, will £312 + scrap value get you a new car in as good a condition as you have now with a cambelt done?
If you were to get the belt done, you'd have a car that your happy with (as far as i know) and the belt being done is a worry off your mind and you dont have the hassle of...
email dmb your wanted size in 'contact us', theyll then reply saying they can do it for £x
and tell you how to go about ordering,
ordered a 520mm x 90mm friday
They are a fair bit more expensive on a 1.4 compared to a 1.2
I mananged to bag a genuine renault one for £30 off ebay,
Seems they are around 40-50 quid which is a bit steep, but not too bad if you can trace it to that,
Not saying it is that or its common, but something to look at
On my brothers old ph2 1.4, he was using water up,
Changed the thermostat, housing and temp sensor as it was all complete, and solved the issue,
Dont know if its the same engine in a ph1, theres little oil galleries that flow to the thermostat to cool the oil (at a guess) and the coolant in the...
If im on the dual carriageway in mine at a constant 70mph on the way home from work
Theres a slight hill in the road and it drops down to more 60mph even if i give it a little more on the pedal
I just put it down to 75 bhp lol
Theres a guide here mate http://www.cliosport.net/threads/quick-guide-on-how-to-alter-brake-pedal-switch.307978/
But i think you need to be a member to see,
Basically move the plunger in or out until the brake lights work properly and it may get rid of your fault
Will take you all of 30 seconds, twist it 90degrees, unplug it, job done.
I dont know if they fail, but if your looking to hange it as its bringing up esp faults then you can adjust them very easily
@MJRacing
Im not 100% mate, but id clear the code, swap an injector from another cylinder,
Let it misfire again, plug it in, if the fault code moves to where you got the swapped injector from and number 2 fault doesnt appear
It could point more to the injector, if it stays in the same place...
I cant say 100% mate as ive never done it. but there seems to be a few threads on here about people retrofitting them
I Just google searched 'variable wiper stalk clio trophy' and a few bits come up, i think they are only a few quid anyways so worth the punt
One from a non cup 182 will be different at a guess as it has cruise control wiring etc
My billabong 1.2 clio has the variable intermittent wipers along with both my brothers dynamiques
I think only really low or 'lightweight' specs (trophy, cup etc) didnt come with it, but dont believe the...
Theres a dynamique non sport round here with xenons,
Has washer nozzles in the bumper and everything, an old couple have it and i cant see them retro fitting it lol, i thought it was availabe just extremely rare
Could be wrong though
It does happen and ive had the statistics nonsense chat
Car was parked and i was stood on the pavement with the keys in my hand and a car crashed into the clio
Insurance went up 250 quid
On the non sports im sure you can just whip a bolt out from behind the rear shock without taking brakes off?
If your still stuck i think i 'may' have some in a box of nuts and bolts in my garage but bot 100%
If i can find one with christmas post etc it wont be with you for a while lol
So scrap...
