yeah i'm hoping the end of may will be nice and dry :)
I had my traction control off what may of been a little of a mistake, I drove round brands in feb it was like -2c but far drier then what it was tuesday evening, and it felt like a complete different track!
Yeah I did the first session and nearly spun!! and then did another session at 7pm the track was far better then the 17:40 one.
I also received an email from MSV inviting me back to do another taster session free of charge (check your junk email) I’ve booked one for the 22nd may at 17:40...
Take a look at the sleeve just taking it off the driveshaft. Waiting for the new one from Renault.

Here’s a photo of the splinth. You can see the closest part is all smooth and the far part that connects to the driveshaft has all the right grooves in it.
Hence why I lost all drive!!
i've ordered that spline sleeve - part number 7700858979 from Renault.
I've current got a mechanic cutting off the old sleeve, and waiting for the new sleeve to arrive from Renault should be here pretty soon, will let you know if this works. As the sleeve is only £16 and they are readily...
driveshaft is on back order with renault around 2 weeks they said, rung up K-tec racing today, but they don't have any in stock for clio cup. The exchange driveshaft from Renault was around £120 and the brand new one was around £240. So will be trying this spline part if that doesn't work I will...
i had a wheel bearing sound, i'm wondering if it was the spline rubbing away as their would be movement not a tight fitment, will see if the wheel bearing noise disappears once all back together hoping to get it all done by friday.
I would say if you're getting these early warning sounds take...
would you say this is the part they used in the other thread to replace and the gearbox end of the driveshaft spline? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/190700908481?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2648&clk_rvr_id=464813019967&afsrc=1
great little thread here... seems the exact same issue as mine except mine just went pop and just spun up and lost all drive.
is this the part you used to replace the spine - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/190700908481?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2648&clk_rvr_id=464813019967&afsrc=1

found this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/190700908481?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2648
and here is the photos of the spline. Gearbox spline looks fine and felt fine, differential spline all smooth!
Just wondering if any one out their give me a bit of knowledge.
The spline in my o/s drive shaft went last night, I stripped it out today, just wondering if it is possible just need to replace this spline and all will be good?
Do I need to replace these cir clips on the n/s driveshaft.
I...
just a 20 minute taster session, just got brand new Michelins pilots all round, so didn't want to abuse them! Aiming to do another two in april, the taster sessions are cheap £25 for 20 minutes and doesn't put to much pressure on the car.
I think I've seen you before, I got the 182 just before Christmas, had an Alfa Romeo mito before.
Just got back from taking the clio round brands today!
slightly confused on the where to put these two washers!! Do they go either side of the bush? Top and bottom or both at the top one in between the nut and gearbox and the other between the bush and mount?
I ended up removing all the plastic lips with a stanley knife. then screwed in around 15 self tapper screws in before fitting it (screwed in just enough to hold them into place on the splitter)
lifted up the car masking taped the middle and ends on.
Got the electric screwdriver out and...
I would recommend moneysupermarket.com - I've got 3 years no claims and 22... I paid £580 but as of my age I do have an extra voluntary excess of £150. I'm insured with Admiral.

just read through the thread... Seems like its a good mod, I have ordered the EXH008 bushes.
Would you recommend changing the rear centre bracket to? (genuine part)
My first post here!! So welcome everyone...
I need some urgent help! I have removed my headlamps as the inner silver lens was flapping around, I also removed the xenon light pack thing, to be able to get my fingers in.
The problem is I cant get the light pack back on, It just wont turn onto...
