Agreed about modified but not light enough I don't think compared to a friends 205 and not powerful enough to get anywhere near Dougie Bennetts mental 600bhp sylva! Thanks for the offer of the HANS but have one for co-driving this
and this
And to wheels I have these Team Dynamics but still...
Hi @GrahamV182 yes the TT has gone and then most of money has to gone to Nick @pure-motorsport !! (well a lot!) ordered new box and diff along with sump guard and race shifter. Once this lot is on I will focus on engine. Hoping to get car out for Portreath sprint in modified or that weird class...
A small update on the rally car build in a bit but was away at the weekend at the 3 counties stage rally at Smeatharpe in Devon. Way too hot for rallying but still a great day with everything competing from a Fiesta R5+ down to a Rover 216S!. We had issues with a rad fan wired in wrong and...
Hi Mark, have done quite a few single venue rallies in many different cars as a co-driver and currently building a Clio to rally from August I hope. Costs for events (tarmac) vary but expect to pay around £200 for 40miles of stages (ish) TSH in Cornwall is 100 stage miles around a large airfield...
Hi, fitted rears ok just looking at options that people have used with a bias towards ones that look nice (but work!) against the sherman tank many nuts bolts rivets look! pictures welcome...
Thanks
A3 does need to be MOT'd and if driven needs tax! (if you bring on a trailer then no) You are only allowed to remove the carpet sets and parcel shelfs if they come off easily. You do not need an electrical cut off only a sticker by the ignition barrel showing on - off directions. Suspension is...
I to would like to understand how this was done as I'm just about to put in the MSA electrical cut out equipment and if fairly easy would like to get this done as well. Great build btw
Why was Mark T not in A3? He is a good driver and beat me in the wet at Werrington this year so it would be good to see his time against yours. Good to see a load of Clio's but RB is still the best colour !!
I installed this new aero upgrade package on a friend's 182 today and we are expecting a marked improvement in rear end grip over a standard 182 especially as this is a new upgrade trickle down from Renault sport's F1 programme. [emoji1]

Great stuff Graham. I meet up with Nick last week as well as I need a Diff and he recommended buying a refurb gearbox from him with the diff fitted. He was getting his Clio fine tuned on the rolling road near me (where my clio is being rallyised) before a trip up the line for a Time Attack thing...
as the title says really! I removed my liners on my Audi TT but not sure about the pros and cons on the Clio. Mine is being built into a tarmac rally car but concerned about water ingress etc so anybody have any advise?

@MarkT the RB5s are still remoulds but they are a very good tyre but i use a soft compound which would wear out far too quick on track so you would need look at the harder compounds and they are very noisey! One negative is wet weather you need to get then cut for wet weather as they move around...
Some more bits aquired and going in the car soon. RRS 3" 6 point harnesses and RRS dished steering wheel. Carbon rear wiper blanking plate and some tow and door straps as the door cards will be fitted and require a method of grabbing.
A small update. The custom cages cage has gone in along with some extra gussets and the car is now without flex!
Couldn't get to open doors to get better pics this time as a gearbox on a pallet was in the way. Flocked dash going back in this week then the plexi glass and the foamex door cards...
Technically my rear wheels are disconnected! So when i start I'm front wheel drive just like you but only for a few milliseconds

Great Job Graham! Never done clay but must do more events up that way! Need to repair audi again  the first two runs at Treloy were amazing and even more torque and bhp than last year but end of run 3 the boost disappeared so I had to retire but still managed a 3rd!! When are you next in my...
