Sounds good, might pop in for a couple of hours. And if I can get the night off and I'm brave enough, might stick it on the rollers depending on space.
Been out for a little drive today and picked something up off @davo172
Make the car look loads better, and I can get my standards refurbed now for winter wheels or track wheels (if I'm ever brave enough).
Next up is to get the cambelt done next week or end of May then just enjoy it for a...
Got a parcel from @Stopherson today, and fitted them straight away.

Must say, it's one of the easiest jobs I've done. Except for breaking a clip on the inside cover\trim bit. I'll get them polished up tomorrow along with another new addition if all goes to plan.
Also fitted my...
Thanks, its all pushed back in. With cable coming thru glovebox. I've got an adapter coming, and the Bluetooth one. I might pop up town and see if I can get one, asda wanted £25 :dizzy:
Right, pulled headunit out. Unplugged the blue connector and tried to play cd but source couldn't find cd player, so guessing that was the right plug. Plugged the connects2 in and the source finds the cd player again. I can't test until my 30 pin-lightning connector arrives.

Thanks for your help guys, all bits ordered and should be here Tuesday ready for me to fit Wednesday/Thursday. I probably will be posting for help.
And am looking forward to the French car show and hopefully meeting some of you

Also purchased a headlight restoration kit...
But there is a few on ebay for around the £30 mark, all I want to do is unplug the multi stack cd and replace with ipod/auxiliary lead. Any help would be great
Did the reading and searching on here, got the part number I need, check for nearest stockist (Halfords). Went down to order it and it's £149.99 !!!!
Is that correct or are they seriously overpricing it ?
All I want to do is connect my ipod/Walkman to the headunit, would be cheaper to by a new...
And possibly get it on some rollers to check what else the previous owner has had done ?
These will be my next job though
Can clean up the cloudy ones in my own time then.
And the bloke who serviced it today has 2 son's who race clio's, and break them. So they're gonna ring me when the have...
First just to get everything sorted and make sure its good, tidy it up and make sure the mechanicals are good. Then will be looking at a remap, better exhaust and the usual filters (possibly induction kit). Thinking about getting the 98ron map (is that right) done for a start as it seems reasonable.
Ok, sorted it. My Renault specialist gave it the all clear today, the 49000 miles appear genuine. Everything is sound except for a few issues like trim, 1 injector lead is frayed, disc's and pads will need doing soon (upgrade I think) and it will need the cambelt doing sooner rather than later...
