Picked it up today with new PAS pump, handles like a completely different car :smile:

Power steering pump has packed up !!!! Say's its the first time he's known one brake ? £198 for a new one, but he managed to find a second hand one for £40.

This is a strange one to describe so please bare with me, I had my cambelt, dephaser, etc done 2 weeks ago. But yesterday I noticed a 'tappetty' noise coming from the belts area ? But the noise gets worse when I move the steering wheel. I will try and video it tomorrow, but not sure how to put...

Why not wheel spacers on the back ?

Is there really much difference between 15mm and 16mm for the rears ? The 15's are almost double in price to the 16's

What's best/most for the rears ?

25mm H and R's, with car running sportlines and Turini's.

Ordered some spacers, but think they might be to big. So could I see pics of your wheels and what size spacers they have on.

FINALLY !!!!! Took it into SRS yesterday and got Cambelt, Alternater belt, Dephaser all replaced. And had new discs and pads all round (3 were seized apparently) and there wasn't any spring clips on the rears ? Got some 25mm spacers yesterday (probably to big, but got them for reasonable price)...

I've bought some seatbelts for my car from a reputable dealer, second hand but in full working condition. I was going to clean them today before fitting but they wont extend ? Is there something I'm missing or not doing ? None of the 5 belts will pull out, all just lock ?

Well my washer blanks arrived, so got them fitted Nice easy job, made a lot easier when I discovered my bumper isn't screwed on at all ?

There's a decent Renault specialist in Nuneaton, and as for re-mapping I'd say go down the RS Tuner route first. It's an easy option and really does make a difference

My idle on start up used range 750 to 1500 until it warmed up, and when I drove it with a cold engine it was very jerky. This morning it idled smoothly from start up and drove very smoothly straight away. I do miss the kick at 5k though, although I'm sure it wasn't good for the engine.

@charltjr I've read the ecu and read cal, and saved them. Does it now take me to Henks files automatically when I write ecu and cal ? Or anyone else
