Cheers mate, I've got a new altenator, belt and tensioner!
Checked the belt earlier and I'm quite lucky, its about half the width of a normal belt due to rubbing. Thank god it didn't snap on the way home from work haha
Do I need to take anything else off to get at it or can I do it all from the bay? looks quite straight forward but as above, just making sure before I start.
Thanks Dan.
Hi all.
Going to change my altenator tomorrow so just wondering if theres guide or anything, ive seen the guide or the aircon models doing the timing belt etc but is there anything for the cup?
Doesn't look like itll be that hard to do but just making sure before I take everything off and do...
Number 1 is the 13mm. The part of the altenator that the 13mm goes into has broken so instead of being an O shape it's now a C so the 13mm keeps sliding out of the hole causing the tensioner to come lose.
Can anyone tell me where I can get replacement parts or if there's anything else I can do...
Bumping here but I need this part now too. Anyone know where I can get one?
Same problem as OP, 10mm came off the threaded bar/tensioner, 13mm came lose and fell out so put new nuts/bolts in but the threaded bar part has snapped now so no tension on the belt and need to get to work tomorrow...
Can anyone tell me what's involved in this? I need a new headlight so would rather just get some xenon's in if its not difficult?
Is it a simple swap or is there more to it?
Cheers
Thanks but I've read differently on here so I'm still not sure? Can anyone actually confirm this and maybe show me where I can buy a hub online? cant seem to find any!
My mum has a 1.2 clio and the passenger window motor was knackered so we got one off ebay but the connections are different.
Anyone got any ideas? are they different between models? I cant see them being different as its only a window motor but never know.
The one ordered was for a 98-06 mk2...
Sorry I meant that I've already got a set of seats lined up and they look like the ones in the link above. Didn't type it very clearly.
The seller says he has a sparco mount and an OMP one. Guessing ill still need the clio subframes to go with those yeah?
Hi all, I'm looking at buying a set of buckets this weekend, the photos look to be real carbon fibre but there's no make on the seats.
I've had a look on Google and come up with these, they're very similar and the patter on the back of the seat is identicle...
