also, are the 172 cups the same as the other 172/182s? looking on ebay just now theres a whole pipe setup for 50 quid off a 182, will that fit a cup?

My old ITBd cup used to hang off the back of my brothers 320bhp impreza and was just as fast as alot of higher powered cars, mk2 FRS etc. Sounds like a low boost setup will be similar to it then.

My brothers 172 was running on 3, turned out to be an injector so we replaced it with a new one, then another went so replaced it too.. And another has gone now so I'm guessing the 4th will follow. Can we get the 2 faulty ones cleaned, how good is the cleaning service, will they be 100%...

What like are they from say 30-110? Always wanted to boost one but at 2.5/3k Im not sure its even worth going low boost. For all the effort it would need to be 280/300bhp I reckon

Hah my c**t of a Ex works in there, apparently shes an accountant. Ap coilovers I had on my first 172 were alright for road use and they wernt too expensive.

Btw, don't get ktec coilovers whatever you do. They're shite! I bought new shocks from Renault and some Eibach springs and took the ktec coilovers off my car, 1 million times better!

Which clutch would be best, it's currently got a 'fast road clutch' according to the advert from when I bought it. I've got some plans for either ITBs or turbo next year so would I be best of getting another uprated clutch now? If so which one? Ta

Finally got my carbon buckets in. Had them sitting in the house for a few months now. No photos tonight though as its dark, need to get the car all hovered out and take it a proper run tomorrow to see how they are :)
