The engineer makes me chuckle. Lost a wheel and nearly all bodywork on my Zonda. He radioed over to say I'd damaged my front light and they'd get another ready. In fact each time I pressed the light button, he told me it was broken and he'd let me know when to come in haha.

If you're only hearing it when it's on idle, check it isn't coming from the clutch. I had a simular thing on my 197, only squealing on idle and it wasn't all of the time. Popped my foot on the clutch a bit and it stopped. This was because the release bearing had gone on the clutch.

Without sounding rude, who are these members from the west other than yourself? I totally agree with your comments on moving meets about though as the Par meet has gotten a little stale. Meets of 4 or 5 cars get a little boring after a while. End of the day, there really arn't that many...

My front tyres are absolutely shot so this week's drive afterwards will be a little more relaxed. Currently trying to think of routes where we won't get split up within a few minutes :/
