Probably because of how noisy it is! Some aftermarket exhausts come with a small notice stating not for highway use but it doesn't generally bother people.

Ah I thought you meant that you'd taken it back without asking! Genuine Renault locking tools will sort out timing problems.

Mine's not the exhaust by the way as it's done it with all 3 exhausts I've had on it. Nor the springs/dampers because they aren't that old.
