Not trying to stir the pot here dude. But everyone here is just trying to help with advice and their experience (being as the title states "first clio ever" , as this is what makes (this one particularly ) a good forum community.
cliosports full of banter and jokes but they're a good bunch and...
Not very good at keeping this updated. Had a good day on the Clio today. Got it all back together and feeling abit more positive about it after having afew weeks of having no love or motivation.
Got half dash now, all sound deadening gone (bar some firewall foam crap)
Re fitted rollcage as i...
Correct sir, think your right i just need to pull my finger out and do some track days in it to get some love back. Works been thst mad the last 3-4 months i haven't had time for it.
Na i haven't to be honest, possibly a dc5 or fiesta st.
Iv got 2 years until iv promised myself ill buy a kit car (mnr vortx, tiger avon or mk indy)
Got an e46 daily at the moment, its a saloon 2.2, comfy and sounds good but not very thrilling lol
Some good points about, its been sorn for a month. Maybe i do just need to drive it...or maybe i should just have a change lol.
Just gone 28. About 50 of those was brought to sell on to be fair but did use them in the mean time.
#thehustle ?
Iv been car mad/obsessed since i was 4 or 5 Always have been. But i get bored of cars fairly quickly, ill buy a new car. Love it to death. Year later and usually many moneys later, im bored and fancy somthing else. Anyone else like this?

Sorry for needing babysitting here, but been trying to get this to work from a switch for a while now. Which wires is it im splicing into to add a switch?
@Ads29
I loved mine (evol dogbone and vibra engine and gearbox mount) even as a daily driver. Its now not my daily and using a e46 beemer, got in the clio the other day and it feels like WW3. Suppose its what your used to
Its off the road now unfortuantly bud (uninsured and un taxed and will be towed to trackdays or taxed/insured for the odd show)
Will be at clio festival though aha. Also got braided brake hoses and braided line to replace hard lines to go on aswell before it moves lol.
the shocks on the cups are firmer than standard, and some use them with cooksport springs and are happy, depends what your into and how serious you want to get.
coilovers with a well setup chassis IMO will always be better.
I wouldn't let post 60k cars put you off in the slightest. theres ones on here that have 140/150k and LOTS of track abuse and still run a lot better than some 70k cars. all down the maintenance.
as for track mods,
strip it,
buckets
coilovers
good tyres/15 inch wheels
polybush as and when
uprate...
Im going to keep mine until it starts giving me any problems as some clio’s get. Then ill be going non pas, see how it is. If i dont like it i can always go epas with controller.
Cant see non pas being bad once moving on a light car
Thanks dude much appreciated.
Will be going 15” hopefully.
I brought a Tessa Motorsport inlet months ago, iv decided to sell that as itll fund wheels. Dont really need any more “power” and would rarther it handle better first anyway aha.
Will have to do a video to update, got a galaxy s9 now...
The trips been pushed back til later in the year as there was to many little jobs that needed doing for me to be happy driving it that far and on the ring.
Not worth the risk.
Got a new rear callipers and braided brake lines to replace the rusty hard lines to go on next. gutted I wont be there...
So iv been a busy boy, Clio is now off the road and im using the Bmw iv brought as a daily which will also be used to tow the Clio afew times a year for trackdays, which means i can get abit more serious with the Clio and do bits i wanted to but havent due to it being my daily.
First job was to...
