People who have put a ph2 dash in a ph1. I used a ph2 indicator and wiper stalks. I've had to change the wiper one back to ph1 as the intermittent setting didn't work.
But now the battery seems to be draining over night. And you can faintly see indicator icons lit up on the instrument pannel all...
Definitely. I don't understand people who buy these kind of cars already built. I guess probably because they haven't got it the knowledge to build it or fix it, but with a car like that you're always gonna have niggles and it can get very expensive and a pain in the ass to fix.
You'd have been better off spending the 8 quid on two tins of blue paint at Halfords and Ed China'ing the bonnet so at least it sort of matched. Just looks like you've had a crash and had to find some second hand bits TBH.
Realistically you're not gonna get everything you need for a grand. Drop us an email at info@clioturbo.co.uk if you'd like everything supplied.
We offer a fitting service as well but if you're wanting to save money we can also supply at a very reasonable rate.
I ran 172 cams in my megane 225 engine with no issues. You do need a get a pulley machined or maybe fit some adjustables.
They have oil ways in as well which you'll need to sort out.
Not that hard but it is possible.
Nightmare! My offer is still there to sort the car for you if you can't find someone closer because I know we're a bit of a trek for you.
Let me know if we can help. Clioturbo.co.uk

If you're aiming for 350hp then don't use a Megane turbo.
Use a GT2860 or 2871. Then you'll not have the problems with the downpipe hitting the master cylinder, you can buy off the shelf parts to get it to fit and you'll easily make the power you're after. As for as I know there isn't a...
You'd be able to put some sort of vent in the bonnet to pull the air out when driving along. Mine does get hot but nothing to worry about. As long as your intake temps are good and nothing is melting then you should be alright.
Have a look over to Durham if you like, luckily the number 1 Clio...
You can fit the Megane head yes but it's not a straight swap, it will physically bolt on but the 172 head has an extra idler that you need to add to the 225 head if you want to fit it. Also the mounting points for the belt cover/engine mount is different because you'll need to use the 172 one...
Don't go to a local garage. Use a specialist every time for timing belt.
Come see us in Durham, clioturbo.co.uk. Andyrg is the cheapest specialist in the north.
Easiest to go into a 172 would be use the turbo pistons and keep the 172 block, gearbox and head. Means you can keep the 172 cams as well as theyre better than the Espace ones, but no VVT.. And fit the turbo onto the clio head.
To use the 6 speed you'll need customs shafts, hydrolic clutch and...
