So I have been looking at this ad on piston heads, the mileage is not as low as I would like but it looks clean enough with good mods for the price. the things putting me off are the poverty spec interior and the fact the steering wheel is off a not sport which isn't right. (even on a cup?)...

so firstly a pic of the front wheels spaced, it looks slightly strange with the rear ones not on.
So after ordering a few things from auto finesse I got some free samples of tough coat...

Ok so I fitted the spacers today and the rear tyres are now catching on the arches. HELP what are my options?? for reference the car is lowered 40mm on apex springs has 16" turinis fitted, Should I get the arches rolled ? maybe new shocks as it is on the standard ones atm, smaller spacers...

So I made a last minute decision and went home at the weekend as the weather was predicted to be good on Sunday, fortunately it was (for most of the day) so I got the sunroof out and resealed it as well as sealing the drain tube to the plastic connector, after checking it over the seal...

So Just ordered some hub-centric 16mm spacers with long bolts, I also have sealant on the way to fix the sun roof, so as soon as I have a free weekend and the weather is good I will be going home to sort the sun-roof and put the car on its winter wheels, the spacers probable won't go on...

So just a small update really the reason I was back home last weekend was to do a few things to the car (before I found out the sunroof was leaking).
So I have fitted a Dixie horn :) it was cheap and some people may hate it but the looks you get are hilarious (it is on a separate button...
To answer you question on what mods to start with I would fix any problems i.e fogged headlights, then some chrome indicator bulbs, the first big thing I would do is a CS grille they make a big difference, and finally colour coding side strips, exterior handles and so on...
