My thoughts. When its cold your revs should be limited by the ecu map so shouldnt be faster than when fully warm!

Get the skoda splitter. Like £12 and look the part. Easy to fit and more flexible if your car is lower!

Ha I did exactly the same on mine mate. Had a 172 bumper off a Monaco and put it on my 1.4 odyssey blue. I could barely tell the difference. The inside should be more priority as that's where you have to sit. I hate a dirty car on the inside.

You wont get no where near that sort of power by doing little mods. Turbo like you said would see 250 easily. There are companies on here who do the full conversions for you. If you use the search there is loads of guides and other users projects to read.
