Filled it up with fuel for the second time this week.
Took delivery of a new rad, coolant, turbo and a few other bits.
Tried to get the A/C working but failed again.
Renault sell a cobra alarm for clios.
I've just stripped one out of my 172 to fit to my dci and don't see why it wouldn't work.
Something like this but obviously for your car...
Oh lordy don't tempted me, let me know what you've been offered though although at the moment I doubt I'd be able to beat it. It would be a custom shaft job definitely.
Civic sounds lovely BTW matey. Had to quickly clock post before I got caught on CS whilst I'm meant to be revising! FMIC...
That makes me sad Stu but at the same time it's always good to have a new car. What did you go for in the end?
Sell me your dci really cheap just because I fancy a 100bhp conversion
My battery light came on the other day. Alternator was fried, smoking like a nut. Jump start it. Let it run connected for a bit. Take off the leads and test the voltage over the battery. If it's just 12v the alternator is dead. I'd expect closer to 14v if the alternator is working.

The airbag ecu may be configured for different set ups. I have seen clios with seatbelts which have rear pretensioners so the airbag ecu may be configured for that. Have you replaced the side impact sensor which is located in the trim panel next to the drivers seat?
If you want...

Take the intercooler and rad set up. You might need the lower radiator hose depending on which spec your original dci 65 is.
The injectors are different but the fuel pump is the same. Swap over the ecu/uch/key fob/decoder ring with the injectors and you won't need to code them to the...
That's misleading as he would be buying a kit which matches the replacement UCH. I'm really not certain what problems you would actually have though, none as far as I am aware. Also the immob code is only linked to the VIN on renaults sytem.
If you want a key made you just get the UCH/ecu read...
Sorry matey my comment probably came across as blunt but I didn't mean it to! The soldering is actually very easy but it's making sure the transistor has sufficient purchase on the heatsink which is the difficult part. You could probably use some thermally conductive glue but I had to do mine...
Well that is actually b****cks. The shop will just do some spray out cards to get the paint right. Shouldn't be a problem at all now. If you go somewhere with a dupot chromavision or something similar. This is how you do paint nowadays and you won't be able to tell the difference.
