What other discs do you have in mind? The Brembo Max discs are meant to be good IIRC, but not worth nearly £100 per set than the HC'. And drilled discs so be avoided as they often crack.

£200 each! And I thought compbrake discs at £115 (separate bell/ rotor setup) each was bad enough.

New Brembo HC discs, and Carbon Lorranies RC6 pads and new brake pin sliders/ rubbers etc ordered :)

I agree with the above AST's if it's just track use. I would like a set next. The only problem is getting hold of Curtis, and long waiting times for the coilovers.

Quick update. Chris popped over on his way to Llandow to lend a hand and, his torque wrench to remove the 2 stubborn 18 bolts that hold the brake calipers on. So I have now removed the bells and rotors on both sides. The front NS arch is a real mess, it has CV grease absolutely everywhere :(...

IIRC the RC5 isn't a track/ race pad. The RC6 endurance would last a lot longer, but cost quite a bit more. I've heard nothing but good things about the pagid blues too, they last ages but cost nearly £200 a set.
