Bad luck mate. Thats the problem with the mk2 clio's the slightest bit of damage is enough for the insurance company to just write them off as they are worth so little.
Id probably be up for summit next weekend like! Mini meet if weathers ok? Ill have a word with ali warriner aswell he only lives 5 minutes away from me and might be game.
i wasnt aware there was a black wire going to side of battery? you surely just disconnect terminals and get the bolt out from behind and slide it out? Thats what its like on mine, had it out last week aswell so fairly fresh in the memory
Go jap! i fully intend to live out my teenage dream of a 400bhp - 500bhp rx7 next year when i turn 25. Clios are fun little cars but if you are after more power move on! Plus rwd is alot more fun that fwd :D well imo anyway.
yozza all the way! they sound amazing! i recently removed my decat for mot and its really not that loud anymore, although that could be just because im used to it been outrageous lol. However car doesnt seem anywhere near as punchy now :dapprove: it has effected the response quite badly so will...
mine did this 3 days ago apart from i left it for about 4 hours. I just put it in 1st gear rocked the car back and forth a few times and it started perfectly and has done since. Little trick i learnt from my 106 gti lol that thing would fail to start about 3 times a week lol. Definately worth a...
Hi, been thinking about this for over a year but only just got round to starting a thread lol. On my old phase2 1.2 clio and i imagine the ff sports are the same, there was a little moveable spot light for map reading. Is it possible to get the full unit containing the spot light and normal...
Yozzasport system for me, only thing that felt like it actually did anything! rs tuner was nice because it fixed the cold starts but in fairness doesnt really do much. 2nd place has to be the coilovers for looks and handling :D
Depends what your after mate, you want it to be low for visual looks or to improve the handling? apex give a good drop looks wise but are generally quite s**t and very crashy, sportlines if you want a slight drop with handling improvement. If you got a decent amount to spend tho id get...
Does it hesitate when up to temp or just when cold? My cup when cold is a bag of s**t to drive for the first mile or so. As for the backfire, not sure but since i put a yozza system on mine it pops all day long and will ocasionally bang when cold, sounds awesome lol.
just get a 1.4 and strip the living s**t out of it!
Does it have to be a clio? as if not id reccomend a saxo westcoast over the clio will be alot lighter as standard and alot more chuckable in to corners, plus parts will be alot cheaper.
