I struggled at first not only because I had to learn to use the newer controller, did only the first two licenses and completed the game first. Failed at gold on lots of missions too.
Then I turned to doing the final 700/800pp races and various other ones and I think doing these, especially the...
I game mainly on PC and still occasionally played GT5&6 on the PS3 / skipped the PS4 entirely, was dismayed to find the PS5 controller no longer has pressure sensitive face buttons and my brain is wired to using X for throttle.
Finding it impossible to play on this controller with the on/off...
I was struggling until I actually watched the demo video, at which point I nailed it within a couple of attempts. Wide angle, second gear and patience will do it!
Nearly enough, 90+ GB. I think the disc version avoids some of that being downloaded but on my weedy internet connection it still took about 4 hours in the end. You can play music rally whilst waiting which is a nice touch.
The game itself is everything I expected so far and I struggled to...
Got the disc version thinking - like a fool, clearly - I could pop in after work for a couple of races. 2 hours later it's only a third into downloading what seems to be the whole game 😅
Nearly ordered one of these brand new back in the day when I got a Megane instead (similar colour - Capsicum Red), still want to try a 200 one day and yours looks really good!
Not sure if posted elsewhere, quite an interesting mix this year and some unexpected results.

I've had a couple of CTEK 5.0s, one for 4 years and one for 2, used both the cigarette lighter on the Porsche (works as it is always wired on) and the quick connect on the Clio.
About a month ago the Bosch battery in the former would no longer hold charge (according to the CTEK), ran a...
I've been a PC man since I was gifted a 386 when I was 7 and the only consoles I've ever owned were cheap second-hand PlayStations to play the various GT games over the years.
I'd love to keep the tradition with GT7 and the game does look like a revival of the good old entries (I reckon my past...
I'm too lazy to have summer and winter tyres and it also depends hugely on the car.
The Clio is happy with AD08RSs even when cold or wet (though I confess I've not tried them at lower than 5 degrees) so I now just run those all year round. Car is not a daily.
A modern 4WD car like our family...
When I asked about the price impact of mileage as a guideline they told me there usually wasn't much difference between 2k and 3k, but from 3k to 5k there'd be a larger jump - that might be why your premium is higher.
Based near Cambridge but not sure about postcode risk, some of that stuff is...
I filled in the form online some evening but at the end got a "we cannot provide you an online quote". Next morning bang on 9am someone rang back though and provided a quote. Also tried Locktons (nearly twice the premium) and Morrisons (no track day cover at this moment), all online as it's...
My road policy with Classic Line cost £373 for the year (997 GTS with agreed valuation at 50k) and includes 6 UK trackdays and roadside assistance (home, UK and Europe). The caveats with this insurer are that you need to garage the car and are limited to 5k miles per year (I'm on 3k hence the...
I've not had this car for many years now so can't remember what exhaust tip size that was I'm afraid.
It didn't start life as a K4M (1.6 16v) btw, originally a D4F (1.2 16v) but plenty of Megane&Laguna engines around for swap which is the route I went down.
That pic was before I had the bumper...
Also from Portugal (coincidence!) and by pure chance I had an mk2 ph2 1.6 16v with the 182 bumper also.
I had exhaust exits custom made to come out of the standard 182 holes and can tell you it is definitely possible with the wheel well, but it is mega tight! I might have some pics of this...
I had a 265 Cup for about 5 years (~45k miles) and now have a 182 FF.
Imo the Megane is a much "better car" in every possible measure, faster, more planted, ridiculously good diff, great brakes and a few light years ahead in terms of interior (unfair as I am comparing cars that age 13 years...
I had this issue in a 1.2 a long time ago and it was caused by the plug that connects into the pedal, had it replaced and the problem went away. Similar issue with the airbag plug under the seat which Renault themselves fixed by getting rid of the plugs and welding the wires.
Similar story to @Dsign, though mine was the mk2 1.2 16v as a baseline and so it shared the brakes and a few other components of the 1.6 16v.
Mine had off the shelf upgrades (this was before the time of the Twingo RS), BMC airfilter with a custom ram air intake, bit like what a Golf R has...
This is good advice and like many others I have thrown mod after mod in past cars, often too quickly to appreciate what each change brought to the table. Now I'm old (well I feel old anyway 😂) and want to savour the journey.
I just wonder if there is any obvious change I should try next and...
