I would go with the gripper diff straight away and leave the engine mods until later. Also would not bother with a quaiffe as the plate type diffs are far superior esp with a lower FD.
Looking to get one to replace my ageing macbook pro 2009 vintage.
The only downside I can see is not having a large dd so may use a wireless hard drive for a large picture library.
If you have one what do you think of it ?
Cheers
Mines like that on one side, you can get some gater or something seals for them it's on one of the forums but not cheap esp when it's a warranty issue !
Ive been using the beast for a while but couldnt get any decent footy on on tuesday nor even Game of thrones etc it also looks hes moving over to £10 monthly fee's
Mines been fine but have one eye on a Golf R, I was going to mod mine but by the time I have changed wheels/tyres and fancy the Cosworth stuff its into £2.5 - 2.7k.
I am lucky and use Riceburner in Macclesfield for service and warrenty work and have been great, I noticed you posted the other day...
I don't get all this about the standard tyres, I have tracked mine admittedly in the dry and they are fine. They are not great in the wet/cold weather but not as bad as people make out.
The 'forum' seem to prefer Contisport 5 or Yoko Advan V105. Although depends which forum you use , one is too...
I think with anything thats free you have to put up with low quality, we watch it on the 40" tv and its ok but no where good enough for my projector.
So anything I want to see at the cinema I don't watch and wait for BR discs.
Not sure on yours but Genisis seems to be the main trouble, I use the Beast's and he says to use staal/tnpb/istream I used it last night and was fine on films and tv shows.Retried it on genesis and was sat there buffering.
I did one of these yesterday via the TV only (no computer) and loaded the beast, found plenty of films etc but not much in the way of footy.
Which apps on the blackbox has the footy on.
I must say they are not that "user friendly " tho....
