Which would you say was best for someone who does a wide range of speeds? I spend half my time town/city driving and the other half on national speed limit roads and I'm often on the motorways to.

Expected isn't it? More surface area for the wind to get hold of the bigger beads, I just want to get it applied, Rain smearing is pissing me off. (That reminds me I must order new wiperblades)

Was bored why not (wax mash up)

I thought melting is is likely to change all the make up of the waxes? Might do it with a few random little test pots from Waxyboxs etc.

Obviously one of the backup boxes they mentioned, Apparently they hold some back for some reason and then send out to the first in the queue.

Wanting to get some sealant on the glass of my car after just driving 200 miles in rain it made me realise how badly I need it. What would you order? G4? What prep work would I need to do? I have the sample of G6 that came with the Waxybox.

    Wax safe pre-wash

Think I hit a bottle of RDS for £3 in store at ASDA. Can see me grabbing a few more next time I see it cheap.

    Anyone use Karcher K2 Compact?

Homebase I believe. I've heard to stay away from the lower range of Karchers, I have a Nilfisk and its spot on.

    Tar remover

As said I just applied left it to to work for a few mins and then misted onto a mf and wiped over with that, You'd normally decon and clay anyway when hitting with a tar remover so going to have a little bit of contact with the clay anyway but not enough that a good polish etc. wont cure.

Does anybody else hate doing car interiors as much as me? I'll happily clean my car for hours externally but when it comes to the inside its a quick vacuum of the mats and carpets and a wipe of the dash etc.

    Tar remover

I'm bored so just browsing through a bunch of threads. Been mentioned already but Autosmart Tardis is what I use. Pic whorage - Took a little agitating to get it all off but as you can see it breaks down tar very well.

The Wax-Tec iron remover wasn't too bad, No IX but for those who have never tried one it was a worthy addition to the box.

    Cleaned up my Brothers Kia....

Not sure on the cheapest but its Autosmart Tardis so not a dedicated detailing product.... Usually only available in a 5 litre tin.

    Cleaned up my Brothers Kia....

And that was a factor :) Used RDS on his rather than using my AF Citrus Power, The Eco Touch was a sample with the Waxybox so thought I'd slap it on his, He is as you can tell not one for car cleaning so not likely to complain about the durability of the tyre shine :) Cheers for the comments...

    Cleaned up my Brothers Kia....

Tardis is very good but it still took a lot of persuasion to come off, Not 100% removed but time was against me a little.

    Cleaned up my Brothers Kia....

Cheers fella and agreed on the tyre shine, It's not the greatest unless I'm applying too thinly but it just seems to evaporate off the tyres, Had a good even gloss when first applied. Reluctant to use Megs Endurance as it'd probably flick off all up the side of the car.

    Cleaned up my Brothers Kia....

Sealed the wheels with Poorboys Wheel sealant and dressed the tyres with the Eco touch tyre dressing. Applied Tripple, Tough Coat and Temptation, Plastics didn't really need doing so left them, Glass cleaned with AF Crystal. Here's a few finished pics which I'm happy with for a quick...

Then onto Iron fallout removal so again out came the Iron X (I love this product) Went around the whole car and every panel was caked so worked around and removed as much as possible, I need to order some Clay as didn't have at to use which was a shame but gave the car a quick rinse using...
